Renewed my passport last month online & then renewed driving licence this month.

Shouldn't be necessary. It's on the front 4b and on the rear for every category. Also month/year in a little "bubble". e.g. on mine MAY24.

Is this page about renewing driving licence correct?

It says check 4b for photo expiry - surely it should say photocard expiry. My photo ID shows 4b expiry of 2027, since I got one in 2017 - and said "please use passport photo". My passport runs out later this year as it was new in 2014. So it clearly doesn't show photo expiry.

It shows photocard expiry.

This needs checking and a better explanation.

(I am not near 70).

Just because the passport has expired doesn't mean the photo has. Photos don't expire.

Agreed, it could be clearer.

FWIW I renewed my licence about a month after renewed my passport. For some reason the DVLA used the photo from the old passport, so the photo on my licence is curretly at least 14 years old. I say "at least", since it may not have been recent when the old passport was issued.
