I needed to change my address as I moved into a rental prior to moving into my new home so I applied online. This was last June. I've still not received it despite several attempts to find out what was happening. Tried again as I've been in my new home since November and DVLA website says it can't find me. Think this may be due to confusion of changing addresses. My licence runs out in July this year... I am at a loss as to what to do now!!0

Over six months? Been there, When I complained, the response was "six month is nothing".
The licence delay was because I could not give exact dimensions of a non-existent aneurism!0 -
OK, I need some education please.
A persons driving licence photo card says the expiry date is 20/11/2021. The person reaches age 70 on 18/12/2021. Is it correct that the person will need to pay to have his licence photo card renewed, including the supply of a new photo, in line with the expiry date? Also, the renewed photo card will be valid for only three years from the date they turn 70?
Sorry if the answer to that is obvious - it's just that the card expiry date and the date of turning 70 are so close, it's a bit confusing.
Can anyone explain how an online application for renewal of the card works, bearing in mind the need for a new photo? Do you just fill in an online form and supply a jpeg?
Finally, this forums help page:
https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/travel/renew-driving-licence/
suggests that online applications should be pretty quick. Is this true?

You may want to renew it as not everyone will take a expired licence as proof of ID.Life in the slow lane0 -
Presumably the 2033 deadline has now been scrapped, since we are longer in the EU?0

Mine and my Wife's both expire next week - no reminders recieved.I also don't understand why you can't renew early and the new one continues from the expiry date, a bit like MOT's.I guess it's a way of making a few extra pence at the expense of the population - I can't imagine any of the population see this as fair or have requested it from our leaders..0
