I haven't focused too much on the language barrier thing it's more the fact where me & my child waited 2 hrs after arriving early hrs in the morning then no room and being put out with hotel grounds to filthy acc. then again 2nd time same thing and no one taking responsibilities the hotel promotes itself as a 5* TC 4*........ The no brits things isn’t really the issue it's just another thing
I was actually told by the on line chat I was going to the sister hotel the Turan World.... this had on site aqua park & amusements on site massive complex but I should have picked this up at then time of booking when I read my summary report hence I only booked Sun pm I received my summary report from the Mon where i picked up no break down of transfers.... seemingly the rep/employee at airport said when late booking is done there is no break down on the summary report so clients would not know on way or the other about what's included unless the double check
Why could she not use the kid's club?
Did it say English entertainment? Unless if specified then you do not have a claim for this.Save £200 a month : [STRIKE]Oct[/STRIKE] Nov Dec Jan Feb Mar Apr0 -

It's obvious to me that you were treated in an absolutely appalling manner from beginning to end, so I can only assume the people who are posting such nasty replies to you are travel agents themselves who sell holidays from hell!
It's also obvious to me that you're extremely upset, so why should you bother to write this post as if it were the real complaint you're sending - honestly I don't understand why people are being so rude to you.
You poor thing. I hope you get some money back - I also hope you ensure this experience is reported on national tv so that the company is shamed.
As for the man who offered to massage your daughter .... well, that's just too sick for words, and the fact that no-one else has sympathy for you so far, shows what a sick load of people have replied to you.
Hope you feel better soon.
Thank You! Thank You!!! I'm so so glad you understand. Thats exactly what people are saying to me these people on here quoting are Travel Agents!!!!!!!! You hit it right on the head........... :T:T:T:T:T:T0 -

Hello
I took her down there was a few staff on but there english was limited she asked for a drink of water and the girl did'nt understand I asked by hand gesture and pointing to bottle of water...... I asked is there any other british kids here or anyone that speak english she just said no. So my daughter just said mum I'll come with you everytime we go on holiday she's in the kids club's through her choice .
Yeah it did say english entertainment, I took this up with REP and her words to me and the other family in the hotel was "I don't believe they are not giving you english entertainment" so what chance did we have when we told her we sat for 2/3 hrs watching it0 -

The kids club is a difficult one, you are the one who refused to use it but I think you were right not to leave your child with people who could not care for her due to the language barrier. I would include it in your claim but don't expect much, I'm sure the company will claim it was available to use.
If it said English entertainment then you need to include it in your claim, that the entertainment was not in English. If you have videos that would be good. If the entertainment was just music/singing then I can see the rep's point. However, if it was anything like most hotels - jokes, games etc. then it is an issue they should compensate you for.Save £200 a month : [STRIKE]Oct[/STRIKE] Nov Dec Jan Feb Mar Apr0 -
scrosbie17393 wrote: »I understand what your saying to be fair, my issue is not big time about the language barrier other people on this forum are making this out. It's more the time waiting for a room, the condition's we were put in 1st time around and also the complex is all security barriered off we were put out with the complex upon arrival. Then put into a 2nd dirty room which we were given the key before even getting to the room and told it was dirty just to put our stuff in then was suppose to be cleaned and it was'nt. Then eventually removed to a 3rd room. If you would PM me you email I will send over letter of complaint & photo's then you will know where I'm coming from
OP - People on this thread have only made an 'issue' of the language barrier because of your initial post. We could only go on your statements. And you were the one coming out with the 'smart alec' and 'ignorant' comments first, weren't you? So any nastiness was started by you.
And if there have been any further queries regarding your complaint it is because of your changing story. One minute it's your first holiday with your child "Eh you ingnorant person I was on holiday for first time myself with a 10 yr old child" and the next minute you've been before because she's used the kids clubs "So my daughter just said mum I'll come with you. Everytime we go on holiday she's in the kids club's through her choice"
So maybe if you have made an initial precise and clearly written post people would not have had many questions and queries. Also keeping your story straight may help.0 -
I've just been through a claim with a partner company of TC's over a hotel not being as described so i know how annoying, and disappointing this whole experience can be, so can totally sympathise with you.
Have you managed to send an email yet? I had a similar problem myself, with emails bouncing back, and discovered that it's because their inbox won't accept any attachments. The best way i found to send pictures, was to upload them to a free site such as photobucket, and put the direct links into the email.
You might want to check out consumer direct as they guys are excellent with advice.
Also check your local council website for their trading standards department, as even though the holiday was abroad, they'll still help you out and go through your case.
Finally, be prepared to possibly be fobbed off, told it's all your fault, and have your initial request for a refund/compensation denied, as this was what happened to me. But don't give up and give them as much proof as possible.
Good luck!0 -
Hi,
I think the OP needs to focus on the main issue - the cleanilness of the rooms - if they have photos then that will help.
I would state the issue, state what you want and when by.

I dont need to see how dirty they were I believe you, as another poster says maybe that is what you should concentrate your complaint on0 -

Lighten up a little. It wasn't meant to belittle anyone.0
