    Thursdays Thankless Tasks

    Todays tasks are:

    Dailies

Tackle master bedroom - remove all dirty laundry, strip beds, shove in washer. Dust, hoover bedroom.

Spend 1 hour tackling either one childs room or spare bedroom, sorting and organising. Take a good look at the landing, is there anything there that doesn't belong, are there any cobwebs hanging from that ceiling and does it need hoovering.

Remember to do your before bed routines, get out clothes for tomorrow, make lunches, straighten living room and give kitchen a good swipe.

thanks for all the good wishes everyone :D:D excited about my surprise for tomorrow, will nip onto OHs pc on friday and let you all know what it was :D

i've had a busy day at work today, so not done a lot of flying, also been feeling rough (still trying to shake off a cold /sinusitis that's lasted 2 weeks!!) with a nasty headache, which has finally gone now!

did manage to get my desk completely clear, still need to do the in tray, but at least its all in one place, put away a load of stuff hanging round in the study, post some letters, empty dw and clear a hotspot :)

before bed i'm gonna just take the dry washing off the banister and sweep and maybe even mop (or wet tea towel) kitchen floor!

in the mornign need to put the rubbish out and drop stuff off at oxfam (nowhere to park today!)

    :D

Did you read my mind? There is a top shelf in DD's wardrobe that I can only reach off stepladders and I was planning on tackling it tomorrow before the binmen come on Friday (also very early...only thing that wakes me up and keeps me awake :rotfl: ) so that next week when they're back to the normal bin-day I will have room in there to tackle our bedroom  Also need to over haul the toyboxes which are under the bed...me thinks the last small bottle of wine may be consumed tomorrow night if I get it all done :rotfl:;):D

At least I won't have a small child crying everytime I want to get rid of a scrap of paper :j

Oh and by the way...that stack of papers I've been sorting out all week have finally been culled to just the credit card statements (and a couple of VERY old bank statements pre 2000/01 tax year so they're safe to go ;) ) and a big pile of shredding. Will do that tomorrow during my 15 minutes of Admin :D

    :j :j :j Happy Birthday rach!:j :j

:rotfl: pigpen:rotfl: I've just had to explain to the rest of the family why i was laughing helplessly! So, did you carry on until you'd finished because you were so enjoying it or because you were too scared to come back on and say you'd chickened out???

I have done all the things I wanted to today, and am absolutely exhausted! I have to confess that I only looked at the airing cupboard, and as it seemed okay, I left it! I've varnished the woodwork in DD's room, and am ready to do first coat of emulsion tomorrow, must start earlier!

Bedroom tomorrow? Again? Isn't once enough?

Yip I can go to bed happy now I know what i'm up to tomorrow! I'm glad it's the main bedroom as 'stuff' was starting to creep in there and take over again. Don't need to do the bed tomorrow so I'll sort out the double chest of drawers instead - 16 drawers full of everything including presents I buy through the year, christmas crackers, hangers and general 'nowhere to put it so i'll shove it in here'. Tomorrow i'll dump it all on the bed and then have a good throw out. Wonder how many presents i'll find that I bought for christmas (last year!). thanks moggins. Happy birthday Rach. Nite all xx
