Yippee, time to sort my sons chest of drawers!!!
I cant believe I am excited about it!!Always on the hunt for a bargain0 -
Good morning,
Well, normally i do the bedrooms at the weekend, but i am hoping to get some done this morning when little one is at nursery - will prob just be doing some sorting, as i can bring that downstairs (in case its not done before lo gets back) but thats a job thats been there since xmas, so will be good if i can get it done. If i feel up to it (dont at the moment) i might whip the hoover around, but wil prob leave that until Saturday.
Right, ive had a browse, so off to start todays list!!!
Happy flying everyone xxxxxxxxxx0 -
Morning all :hello:
Came down this morning to find OH putting the clean dishes away which he washed this morning :j He'd also made his lunch which meant I could get in the kitchen straight away for a change :j He even put the livingroom fire on high so it was warm, and contacted Barclaycard about fixing his direct debit amount  Maybe the (not on purpose) I've-done-all-sorts-and-you've-not-noticed mood I was in last night was a virtual kick up the wotsit. :rotfl:
Anyways the place looks alot better for all my efforts and the little help OH gives me, which is okay by me as he's out at work all day in a secondary school and has a 40 minute commute each way daily:T
So my list for today looks something like :- Dailys
- Beds
- Bathroom
- Kitchen
- Dishes
- Washing
- Evening meal
- Me Time
- 30 mins - MSE/pigsback/neopets
- 30 mins - Forums / banking / estate agents
- 30 mins - free
- Livingroom
- Dust lights
- Wash down table (DD makes a mess of it on a regular basis while eating  )
- Filing - 15 mins
- Clothing repairs
- Christmas Card list
- Kitchen
- Wipe lower cupboards / appliances
- Oven
- Floor
- Worktop
- Clean WM drawer
- Hotspot
- Kids Room - 1 hour
- Sort storage shelf out.
- Go through toys if I have time.
- Print Novembers Money Report & file

Then chase DD...again :rotfl::wave:
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 - Dailys

Morning everyone
I'm back after a few days in college. Don't feel like doing anything at all today so will be back in a bit for a royal 'virtual' boot.
Allready have another 3 assignments (well would be four, but I wasn't in on Monday to collect it) and also have to work out how on earth to get all my case studies done.
As today is a 10p listing day I really need to get my franny around doing this too - plus of course there's the shopping and ironing - not to mention the new bank account to get organised and house to tidy......
Blimey - it soon piles up!!!
Right got to go, kids need taking to school - but I will be back in need of some guidance

Morning everyone
I'm just sat briefly with a cuppa.
Like Nicki, my DH was useful last night and this morning. I was going to clean the loo last night before bed, and he did it. Then, this morning then i got up, he had finished off scrubbing the wok for me last night and not rinsed the sink when he finished. He took one look at my face, which was  and he cleaned it for me this morning, and made me a cuppa while i fed the baby.
So far this morning:- WM - 1 load done - babies bedding
- expressed some milk for the baby
- dried the 2 soggy cats (out in the rain last night)
- swept the LR (leaf and tree bits brought in on cat fur)
- hoovered the LR and kitchen
- washed all my glass placemats
- wiped the DR table
- checked emails and checked in here
- sorted coffee table out (put everything in one pile and sorted some bits to take upstairs)
Like others have said, it is a matter of just doing something. In one of the advert breaks in desperate housewives last night, i measured out formula to put in babies bottles for today, put powder in the WM drawer, and changed the cat litter tray. I've got much quicker now with the baby as you do things when you can so it is done, no matter how imperfectly.
Happy flying everyone.

Hi everyone,
I've been lurking around the OS section for quite sometime now, and decided that this Flylady Challenge is exactly what I'm looking for. Now that work/family/school is settled and into a routine, I'll hopefully find it easier to fit the housework etc in. Everyone on here seems so supportive that I'm sure that is why each of you get so much done. Well done to you all. I'm now off to tackle ds2 room.0 -

:rotfl: pigpen:rotfl: I've just had to explain to the rest of the family why i was laughing helplessly! So, did you carry on until you'd finished because you were so enjoying it or because you were too scared to come back on and say you'd chickened out???
The latter!!! lol
I couldn't have quit once I started the floor was so vile it has white!! flooring in a tile pattern and I scrubbed each square by hand because the mop was useless!! .. Hopefully now though a swift slop over with a cloth will do it.. I do think it looks lovely now though, and it smells nice too!
The room it 5ft x 3 ft and if I had come back saying I quit because it was too much like work you'd have all had me shot lol.. Gosh it was BAAAAD!!!!!
I will confess though.. I did leave the bath because by the time I had finished the loo I'd run out of time lol.. I'll do that today I think.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Tackle master bedroom - remove all dirty laundry, strip beds, shove in washer. Dust, hoover bedroom. Did this at the weekend
Spend 1 hour tackling either one childs room or spare bedroom, sorting and organising. Take a good look at the landing, is there anything there that doesn't belong, are there any cobwebs hanging from that ceiling and does it need hoovering. my landing is the house dumping ground.. but the bedrooms are worse.. I need to sort through all 4 of the childrens rooms too.. so where do I start? .. decisions decisions!!! Right.. instead of master bedroom I shall do the boys room then I shall have a swifty on the landing.. that will have to do you I made a start on the boys room.. filled a binbag with rubbish, then another one with clothes that don't fit DS3 or are too shabby to be worn (these will go to nursery).. am having a break for lunch then will go sort through DS2's cupboard and refill DS3's cupboard with the pickings and the rest can be flung.
Remember to do your before bed routines, get out clothes for tomorrow, make lunches, straighten living room and give kitchen a good swipe. Like I'd ever be lucky enough to forget!!

ok! can i pleeeeease go back to bed?!?!?!?!?
the day started so well: kids didn't wake before 6.40; while they had their breakfast i folded the washing and then it all started ....
oh rang (was getting a bit worried already. he's supposed to be home at 7ish am and it was already 7.50) - so anyways: he forgot his wallet at work, and was very (!) low on fuel but almost (15min away) home and hopefully he could make it ....
well cut a long story short: he didn't make it and was stranded in the middle of nowhere 10min out.
soooooo i had to dress dd quickly, grab a protesting ds (who was on his way to nursery but didn't want to go at all (!)) - so grab money, grab kids, grab mobile - shove everything in my car. lightbulb moment: get canister out of garage ... empty
so off to petrol station to get it filled - my card was not working  (have to look into that) - luckily i had some cash on me!
then phone oh to find out where he was. - handed the canister over, he filled and off he was ... ehm, hello?!?!?!?
so i dropped a still protesting ds at nursery (luckily he settled quickly when he saw the pc there) - came home with dd to find oh has gone to bed already  - ehm, i knew he was tired but couldn't he have waited 10 min?!?!?!?!?!? [aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh]
then i tried to come on here: webbrowser wouldn't start! so i played with that for an hour (including deleting all the temp files and cookies) - then finally [woheyyyy] i was in again! ... BUT coudln't remember my password to ems- so had to request new one blablabla ...
and finally i can relaaaaaax [pheww]
oh my, i won't even put a list up today. i just take an easy day for once
might get the bookshelf up (if i feel like it)
but i feel a nice cup of coffee coming up as a treat :rotfl:
anyways, enough about me
how is everyone else doing???I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work0
