Got stuck in to the kitchen and I've cleaned the window, windowsil, tiles, and the top of the cupboards as well as inside the microwave :j Just waiting on the oven door now. Hoping I won't have to get a blade out to scrape the grease off it. I have no idea how it's got that bad as I mainly bake and do casseroles (covered) or pasta/potato bakes in thereUnless it's burnt on from Christmas
Anyways I'm having 5 minutes sit down with a coffee (once the kettles been boiled) and a banana muffin then I'll finish the kitchen, washing in and then off to DD's room... can someone bring over a BIG black forest gateau and a large bottle of wine please if I'm not back by 1pm? :rotfl: Will catch up on my other forums now as they shouldn't take long.Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 - Dailys

Pixisue - have you read flylady? there's a bit somewhere that says about typical 'she' things and how they afffect us and our families - and one of them was leaving the fuel tank run to empty... I think you need to convert your darling
Well after my whinge this morning I came home and
Tidied my bedroom - clearing all laundry/rubbish etc (why does the dog have to bring me so many 'gifts'? a pair of smelly socks at night is NOT what is going to persuade me that he may stay on my bed)
Whizz through the boys bedroom made their beds, cleared their laundry, general quick tidy & airing
Rescued dog basket and rewashed was on the line, lol.
Reduced ironing to half folded and put away anything that doesn't really need ironing, lol
Tidied Kitchen & swished all surfaces Ok, all worktops, and some others
Sorted & put on another wash load
Mopped up flood in the kitchen (water is now coming in through walls in the office and kitchen door!)
Tidied lounge.
Overall I wouldn't die of too much embarassment if someone called now, so I guess I'm sort of company ready - as long as they don't need the bathroom..... Only reason kids clean their teeth is to make a mess with toothpaste -and as for their aim..... YUCK, to little boys!January '06 Grocery Challenge (4th - 31st) £320.Week 1 - £73.99 Week 2 £5.10 (so far)
Someone burst my bubble and I lost the plot so no idea what I spent now...Other Jan :- Petrol £20.41, Clothes £8.50, House £3.I will try to work it out.

Morning all! Just a quick check in while I have a coffee break from painting DD's room.
Have stripped bed and linen washed and drying in tumbler.
Cobwebs on landing ceiling are fine thanks, especially the ones I sprayed gold for Christmas.I'll do the rest of it if I have time this pm. Have to take DS1 to doctor's for injection - he's going to Africa at Easter. (Last year he fell ill during trip to China, so I am more than a bit worried about this, but he was offered the chance to do it to make up for last year, so I'm trying not to let it show).
Must dash, painting awaits.
PS pigpen, I also do stuff just cos I'm too scared not to! Think I'd have to leave mse forever! It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
lol Serena.. I am so pleased there is not just me that is so scared of this lot I daren't ignore the mess.. I should have found this place years ago!!
I am allowed in for 5 minutes while I make my lunch and have a cuppa.. I am finding a decent upgrade for DD1's phone and as she got a new one for christmas this one will be mine!
I have sorted the boys room and actually found the motivation to go through DS3's drawers and flung everything that doesn't fit.. anyone need a bag full of spiderman and scooby doo clothes.. mainly t-shirts lol.. age 6-7 ish?? Really anooys me when they outgrow stuff and it is barely worn!
Back to my broom anyway..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
nicki wrote:[/LIST]I'm tired and unmotivated today as the weather is awful. Its so windy here my little greenhouse (plastic kind, about £15 from B&Q:rotfl: ) has moved about 3ft down the garden even though it's full of stuff that needed storing over winter! Just hope my hanging basket of strawberrys doesn't fall out of it
End of last year mine cleared a five foot fence panel and headed up the road :rotfl:
Grabbed it and shoved the bits in the shed. Will investigate when spring comes.0 -

2 bags of rubbish later and I'm on the home run but needed to eat & drink. :j
Hopefully we'll either make a fortune on ebay (yes I know it's 10p listing day and I should take advantage of it, but ATM I'd rather gather all the stuff together in one placeand then have less competition from other sellers. :rotfl: ) or the charity shop will be making even more money out of us again
Nearly finished my dinner so off for a VERY QUICK scan of the other threads:p and then I'm off to tackle the end of the cupboard... maybe toys will be left to another day  :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 - Dailys still to do
