Todays rooms are: Bathroom/toilet DID THIS ON SUNDAY SO ONLY NEED TO DO; wash down tiles, wipe down radiator, clean mirror
Sort that airing cupboard. Throw away any towels that are only fit for drying the dog (or reserve a cupboard for dog drying towels) check all bedlinen for thin patches and make notes to replace at end of month. Pair up all duvets and pillowcases. What I do is fold the duvet, place inside the pillow case then fold that over, that way all bed linen is instantly usable without having to do a hunt for matching sets

thanks for the filing tips. i had a 10 minute go at it and made a start! it wasn't actually that bad, think i just hate starting it and was having a stressful moment!
i work from home and work funny hours (kind of always working!) so study gets not only personal paperwork but a lot of work stuff. i keep the personal stuff in a tray for a couple of months and when its full file in my personal folder, its the work stuff that piles up quickly. i'm ok with meeting minutes etc, its post, stuff which needs attending to etc that i just tend to let pile in the in tray or on my desk. my new habit is going to be to never pick up a piece of paper twice - once i've picked it up, just deal with it....i can try!!
bathroom nice still, will just need a quick wipe and hoover, am determined to try the study tomorrow, have a lot on at work, but should be free 12-3ish (working the evening).
have to say i smiled when i came in this evening to my clean and tidy hallway & stairs
and i'm getting a new upvc door - hooray, no more sticking!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Hi
I know I'm 10 days behind the rest of you, but was wondering if its still ok to join??
I've tried to read through the rest of the thread but got to about 365 and my head really started to hurtany advice on what I need to do to catch up would be great :j
I had a really bad couple of years of being incredably untidy and disorganised and have decided the 2007 is the year to pull my finger out and get my life and house in order :A
tink x:j
Sealed Pot Challenge #1505
'you wouldn't worry about what people think, if you realised how seldom they do'0 -
tink anyone can join at any time. moggins said that if you miss a day or join late to just do that days task as we will revisit the other rooms and you will be able to catch up then. you could always do tasks you have missed when you get free time or that days tasks don't apply to you etc. i would just start by trying to do wednesdays tasks - remember baby steps, don't worry if you can't do everything on the list, whatever you do will start to make your home look better and you feel better about your home.
ps dailies are stuff you do everyday to run your home such as getting dressed to shoes /makeup. shining your sink, dishes, etc:love: married to the man of my dreams! 9-08-090 -
