Well I have to tell you all......... I'm NOT doing any flying tonight!!!
I've just got in from work and am going to drag my post xmas fat a** to the gym!!!!
And after that I suspect I will collapse into bed and there I will stay. :j
Terrible I know. Tee Hee!
However, BIG WELL DONE'S to all who have clearly worked very hard today and EVEN BIGGER HUGS to all that need them.
I'm off to dust off some lycra........................ :rotfl:Wandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...0 -
Done Moggins' list, all apart from mopping the floor (will do tonight). I even did 15 mins in the garden.
Still have to make tea (HM pizza, salad, garlic bread), but dough is ready to go so should be a nice quick preparation.
Ladygrim and LearningToSave - hope you both feel better soon. (((hugs)))Sealed Pot Challenge 5 - #1742 :j0 -
I have a filing cabinet, just the one drawer built in to the desk, just put the inserts in as someone had them going spare on freecycle, best thing I have ever done. I've always stuck to the rule of keeping at least 3 years bank statements and a year of the others. I have the following file names
Income (incs P45s, benefit letters for Child Benefit etc, payslips etc etc)
Household bills and policies (Insurance, Phone, Gas & Electric etc)
Other bills (for statements from cards/cataloues, ideal if need to claim off Barclaycard etc)
Cars (MOTs Insurance V5s Reciepts etc)
Instruction manuals and guarantees (inc my washing machine/drier instructions)
Kids (biggest one with a kid with special needs, as no doubt Pigpen knows)
Certificates, ID and awards (exam certs, birth certficates, passports, medical cards etc)
Uni file (all letters from that that I need)
Bank Statements (only 2007 in here, put 2001-2006 into a sealed file now)
Appointments etc (medical appointments, conferences etc not yet attended)
School Governor paperwork (probably the second biggest file)
Tell you what I wouldn't be without it now, every day post is dealt with and filed immediately, I know where everything is after spending months and months in bags and boxes dotted about. Don't miss bills any more either
Right, kitchen is getting done tonight, spent the evening baking and cooking in a confined area as DP took over the kitchen with his stuff, so I bribed him to go out so I can get it doneUpdated my list and I've actually done more than I thought I had which is always good. Will be much easier now I don't have to work round him!
One day I might be more organised...........

Did make a lovely stew in the SC, and the kitchen is wiped down and clean, but didnt get to wipe all the cupboard fronts down, which i was planning on doing. Thats about it really, but the house is clean and tidy, no one was home all morning, so that prob helped, but i am home all day tomorrow, so should be able to stick to moggins list a bit better!!!
Hope everyone has a lovely evening xxxx0 -
