I am going to try and do the tasks today, but failed yesterday. Had a good excuse as my Employment Tribunal is on Friday and I had to prepare for the case following submission of witness statements. Sink stayed not shiny for the first time in days. However DD No 2 is off college today and she may do it for me. Hope so! Limited to time tonight as I am off to Slimming World at 7.30 and then I may even try to go to the gym later. Here's hoping!Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

Love and hugs to Ladygrim sounds like you are having a rough day or 2.
I decided to move my butt and fill a binbag to fling.. to add to the other 5 we have outside that won't fit in the wheelie bin.. I think I need a cuppa, a jumper and some funky music to get me in gear..
I'll be back to update with a decent list once I have recovered and remotivated myself!
ETA..
put on the jumper.. made the cuppa.. switched on the funky stuff.. ok so it is super-cheesy 'wedding songs'.. you know the type.. 'Love is in the Air'... 'Come on Eileen'.. fab stuff to dance the vacuum around to.. and sing of course.. loud enough to scare the neighbours... before long the jumper came off and I..
Loaded DW
Bleached the sink.. it is white now!
Wiped down all the units and appliances.. they are white too!!
Emptied and wiped the inside of one cupboard.
Cleaned the bin.
Wiped the table..
Went to school and collected the gremlins..
Came home emptied and reloaded the DW
made another cuppa
and now am off to fold and put away all the dry stuff and reload both TD and WM..
Then on to cook food as I've had nothing but a twirl all day and I am starving!!!!.. Sausages, mash and peas as requested by jb (dd4)
ooh I need to exercise too.. :j :j :j :j .. ok done that! most exhilarating!
Then on to stargate!! .. woohoo... is it just me or is Daniel Jackson worth one??LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

((((ladygrim)))) ((((hazzie)))) and anyone else who needs one.
Make some bread, the kneading will make you feel no end better!
Or treat yourself to a small bunch of daffodils.
Kitchen/diner here, so did the two together. I can't polish the table as I'm waiting for OH to sand it a bit and treat with oil, but tablecloth no problem! Units wiped down, also worktops and windowsill. I'm quite good at keeping kitchen clutter free so it didn't take long. I don't think I've ever cleaned the washing machine drawer (in fact, I don't think I knew it came out at all...:o) but it is done now!
I do main weekly shop on Wednesday, and have three teenagers. On Tuesday, there is nothing edible left either dodgy or not.:D Did the salad drawer yesterday, and will do veg drawer and shelves later.
I have also sanded down the woodwork in DD's room, and polyfilla'd the walls.
I bought the paint this morning, and I'm just off downtown to get the duvet cover set that we found on Saturday. We spent two hours going round every shop, but because she was tired, she couldn't make her mind up! Finally decided last night that she wanted one particular one we'd found, very good make and reduced in the sale. Hope it is still there! Will catch up again later.
PS Can provide appreciative and loving home for any unwanted boxes of chocolates! It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
Afternoon everyone.
I've been a bit of a shirker today. I made the mistake of phoning my sister as i hadn't spoken to her since New years day, and i wanted to check how my nephew with chicken pox is. 2 hours and 12 minutes later i worked free. Luckily we are both with PIPEX, so it was a FREE phonecall.
I have done some things though. WM drawer is now sparkly. Thanks for that one as i've been putting it off. I have hoovered all of downstairs. (kitchen, living room and dining room) as i spilt my box of cereal this morning, and for some reason there were still needles from the tree, and lots of little bits of shredded paper where DH had been organising his tax return. Fridge was sorted last Saturday, so i know there is nothing mouldy, and dinner is a soup, that will just need to be blended before we eat it. I won't do now as the baby is asleep and i don't want to wake him.
Just about to do the kitchen sides and sill, but i want to check out the daily first to see what moggins has been up to.
