my superstar hubbie tackled our spare room /dumping ground. he condensed dvd/videos onto one bookcase and put the other back in loft. he cleared out cupboard in spare room and decided if it was for ebay / carboot or junk. he then took door off cupboard and has changed it to hold our tumble dryer & laundry baskets etc. i hoovered the room and we have decided to utilise it as a gym room, with equipment we already own but had not used since we moved here as had nowhere to put it.
i decided to use 3 small wicker tubs for hair accessories :hair jewellery; clips & claws; bobbles. i threw out any broken stuff and sorted some xmas presents. i also added stuff to our gift box by recycling some unwanted xmas pressies to use for this years pressies.
we have sorted stuff to list on ebay's 10p listing day on thursday
he has phoned to get gas and electric meters installed so that should save us money and we ordered our new tumble dryer as our old one isn't efficient any more. mil paid for new tumbledryer for our xmas.

Was feeling really proud of myself last night - kitchen worktops are gleaming, I cooked a really nice meal, hoovered the sofa and living room, emptied the washing basket again (washed and put away), and told my OH to look at everything I had done. I got a feeble well done, and when I told him that I'm not taking babysteps any more and that I've started to fly, he looked at me as if I had left the planet! lol
I tried to explain to him what flylady is, but he just doesn't get it! Oh well, at least I can come on here and feel appreciated.
Well done to everyone who is starting to fly, and in case you have no-one to make you feel good about what you have done - "I'm proud of you!" Keep up all of the hard work. :TEnjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -

No I didn't.. but I've no idea what you are on about, we don't have a tv so my viewing is strictly limited .. and his 3 with my 8 it'd be like a school outing!! lol

i think i have a problem with paperwork
I HATE IT!!!
i'm sitting at my desk, i know i should file, it makes the whole office look a mess, but i can't make myself....anyone give me akick up the backside?
anyone have a good system that actually works???Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
rach.. I bin everything!!! companies keep copies of every statement they send you so you don't NEED to keep them.. banks have every single transaction ever to occur on your account so you don't need to keep statements.. all other paper is junk mail and needs binning!!
I have insurance documents in one paper file thing and another file with the paperwork related to DS2's SEN .. all his IEP's, his reports from agencies etc and another one with hospital letters for appointments we have not yet attended.. in date order.. once we have been they are binned. the childrens birth certificates and those of myself and hubby, medical cards, marriage certificate are in a box upstairs.
I just looked to see what else I have.. and it is nothing!! everything is binned.
I have the 3 files on the desk inthe front room in need of a new home, I think they will end up upstairs once I have finished sorting it.
Works for us!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
