    Morning All

Todays challenge is good, both rooms still nice from last week. Have lots of paperwork to do today but hopefully will fit in -

    cleaning kitchen
    sort 1 cupboard
clean kitchen windows inside & out
    hoover and wash floor.

    Have a great day.
  • Morning Flyladies!

I'm just off to work, but had to update on my progress yesterday. Got in from work knackered and just wated to sit down, but decided to make OH make dinner (he cheated and brought lasagne home from work) and did just 30 minutes fo whizzing around picking up stuff.

Just as I sat down feeling very smug we had an unexpected visitor! And the house was ready! :j I felt so pleased with myself that my new personal mission is that every room will be ready for visitors (our bedroom not so good this morning).

I didn't manage to sort out our wardrobes last week because OH was on nights and sleeping all day, but he's away for four days now. He won't recognise the place when he gets back!

I'm quite sadly excited at the prospect. :j :j

    Have a fantastic day all.

Just getting tomorrows list sorted before I go to bed. Decided that it's easier being a day behind you lot, rather than trying to be a day in front!

Moggins list: (some of which I did a couple of days ago . . . )
    Dailies

Clean/polish dining room table. Find nice tablecloth to protect shiny table with. [STRIKE]Hoover dining room, dust and polish any other furniture in there.
    [/STRIKE]
Kitchen - [STRIKE]empty worktops and clean thoroughly using a drop of bleach if necessary[/STRIKE]. Wipe down all cupboard fronts, remove drawer from washing machine, leave to soak in hot water for 10 minutes while cleaning the top of the cooker off, wash drawer, wipe down front of all white goods.

[STRIKE]Check fridge for any nasties and transfer all things that need to be used quickly to either one shelf or the front of the fridge[/STRIKE]. Wipe out salad drawer and line with kitchen towel.

Clean windowsill, [STRIKE]sort out one cupboard and mop/hoover floor[/STRIKE].

Tackle any paperwork and one hotspot.

    My list:
Sweep/wash vinyl floorings (might end up becoming a daily!!)
    Clean ensuite (not done today)
Spend some time sorting in the garage ~ have decided this will be my project for the next little while. It is full of stuff left over from moving house a few months ago. I went through three boxes this afternoon, so that's a good start!

OMG I am so cold after doing the school run. I'm going to sit here and drink my coffee and do my filing first so I can warm up enough to get my body moving again. I had to take my friends little boy to school today as she was sick trying to brush her teeth. Poor thing is only 7 weeks pregnant! Looks like she is in for a time of it.

Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
  • MOGGINS - I hope you don't mind me asking this. We've decided that i'm going to be a SAHM but we still want our kids to go into nursery for a couple of hours a week. We've not lived long in Gloucester and we don't know this area at all. Do you know of any decent nurseries in the area? I'm going to see the Bupa run Teddies nursery at the Virgin active place on the Barnwood roundabout this afternoon - it looks quite good! Any help would be much appreciated!!!!
