MOGGINS!!!! I've just noticed your in Gloucester. Me tooooo xxxx
p.s. My DH has been incredibly impressed by my new flylady skills and our nice clean house. I know this may sound weird but this thread has inspired me alot and given me some well needed confidence - as a result we've just had a very long discussion and we've decided that i'm going to become a full time mum!! Wooohooooo xxxWhat the Deuce?0 -
Thank you, lovely, lovely Moggins. :j :j
Did the list today, went shopping and also made a tub of salad for lunches over the next couple of days.
Couldn't believe how many cobwebs there were once I started hunting for them.
I was planning to clear a hotspot in the spare room, but instead realised that the (cleared last week) kitchen table was in danger of overflowing again so I cleared that instead. I also spied a hotspot that I hadn't realised was a hotspot until today (funny how that happens) so I shall attack that tomorrow.
Edited to add: I also discovered the yahoo group FLYGarden today, which has an interesting idea of seperating your garden(s) into zones and doing the dailies plus 15 mins a day, with Rainy Day tasks for when the weather gets in the way of your plans.I'm in two minds - I really want to do this, but I'm nervous I'll get overwhelmed when I'm doing this thread as well and end up dropping the lot. I know myself only too well.

scaredy_cat wrote:hmmm good i started late so missed this one last week - dr is not shut off room as weird layout here so heavy traffic room - am looking forward to this. Not looking forward to cleaning cooker top which could take all day as is bad  but glad it came up really
You can make cleaning cooker tops MUCH easier if you use soda crystals (washing soda), biological washing powder or Biotex mixed up into a very strong solution with warm water. Leave on cooker top for 10 or 20 minutes and then test to see if gunge is coming off if not leave for a while longer. Soda crystals are also great for cleaning the inside of the oven.
Once clean, wipe over nightly to save having to put in so much effort again...
MermaidYou only get one go at life, so grab it where it hurts, shake it hard and get everything out of it you can!0 -
Quite strange, few of those inc washer drawer were on the list had started for myself, will add/change my list round a bit. I'm at the dentist in the morning and have to have injections, and need to collect a trailer I managed to get off freecycle
so will depend how I am afterwards as to what I get done. Will try to post list before I go, see you in the morning everyone
bright and early flybabies!
One day I might be more organised...........

Hi Flyladies
Please could someone tell me what the Dailies are on moggins list? Thanks zippy x
Looking forward to joining in tomorrow as my DD's are back in school0 -
Back to work so can't fly so fast. Didn't hoover my suite as is leather and always dusting it. Whole thing was thoroughly cleaned before Christmas so that will do to the summer at least. Made bread, done 1 load washing and ironed for an hour. Also made kids clean up their mess as I am sick to death of picking up after them and have decided just to make them do it themselves whilst I supervise he he. Made macaroni cheese for dinner and have frozen a huge dish for another night. Not too bad considering was out all day. Take care all xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
Currently CC £23,674.36 /£14,895.41/£14315.42
Mortgage £28,214.65/ £26,254.71/ £25,746.43
By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.000
