    Welcome TINK and lorraine!

NICKI.. I am exactly the same.. not helped of course by the fact I went to pub on Monday night and got home at 3am!!!.. then was 'so drunk!' (on 3 drinks.. NOT) I set the alarm for 7:50 instead of 7:15 then didn't sleep properly tuesday night because of the fiasco the night before and was fretting about SEN son going up to high school.... Last night I was so tired I was in bed by half twelve and coulnd't get up this morning either!! I NEED lighter mornings! I get up with the sun.

    Todays rooms are: Bathroom/toilet

Clean toilet, wipe down flush box and disinfect handle.[/STRIKE] I'm on top of the bathroom so it is ok, I do need to scrub the sink though so i'll fo that and tackle the loo which is in great need of scrubbing.. it is nasty in there!

Throw away any manky towels check all bedlinen for thin patches and make notes to replace at end of month. Pair up all duvets and pillowcases. COLOR] I don't need to do this as I did it at the weekend.. and I don't have an airing cupboard.. all my dead towels are torn up and used and floor cloths/dishcloths or dyed and overlocked and used as face flannels!

    My list..

    [STRIKE]DW
    BM
    WM
    TD
fold and put away dry stuff[/STRIKE]
    vacuum front room
Need to buy food for the rest of the week.. must make a list!

Morning all, sorry I'm a little late joining you but DH was given tonight off as he has to go in for a meeting this afternoon so he told me last night to have a lie in while he took DD to school. This is a rarity for me so I made the most of it. So I'd better get flying now :D

Well done to everyone for yesterday. You are all wonderful and welcome to all the new arrivals, it's really good to see you and please don't worry about playing catch up, it can't be done so just jump straight in on todays tasks.

Going to make a start on the paperwork at 11am when I've caught up with bits on the 'net. Shouldn't take me that long to file stuff, but the scanning of stuff might  So my plan is to sort out the filing stuff so I only have a small pile left to do ;) This should also free up a box file for me to put DD's work books in (for when we "play" school during the hols ;) She loves it! ) which should in turn clear another pile of papers. :D See I have it all planned...it's just the doing it that I have problems with :o

I'll have to finish the dishes later as it's 2 pans (1 of which is in to soak as I burnt tea on the bottom of it again.. it's the hob honestly...I'm used to a gas hob and still haven't managed to adjust to this solid plate one  ) and a glass casserole dish which I'm not prepared to stack ONTOP of the other dishes. I've been through 3 in the past 6 months thanks to OH doing that or not putting them away properly so they fall off the shelf/out the cupboard  Once thats done I'll finish off the kitchen but I need the sit down, my legs are aching.

Off to look at other forums... later

    Morning everyone,

Good start to the day so far - bathroom and toilets all clean - including wiping down all the tiles, floors and cistern!!! Ive emptied the DW, the WM has been on, emptied and all hung up and kitchen has had a bit of a clean. Still need to do some more in the kitchen, but will do that when the little ones are eating their lunch.
Feeling much better today, think i have already accomplished more this morning than the whole of yesterday!!!!
Have a good day everyone xxx

I've had one of those mornings where a couple of hours seem to have vanished into some kind of black hole, and I haven't done anything like the amount of things I was supposed to!

Quick trip to B&Q first after school run, bought varnish and a TV wall bracket for DD's room. Halfway through washing up when my mum rang, and as she had to have emergency treatment for suspected glaucoma just before Christmas, I had to sit and chat for over an hour! Well, much more important than housework! ;)

Just on here while I have a coffee, pick up today's list, and then off to do the weekly shopping.

    This afternoon I have to:

sand down the polyfill, and varnish the woodwork

    do Moggin's daily list

make soup and a tray of flapjacks.

Happy flying everyone, see you later.
