    Todays list
    Washing
    Shampoo lounge carpet
Sort out all my makeup (i dont wear much so how i have gained so much i have no idea!)
    Meal Plan
    Paperwork round 2.

    Good luck everyone!

Hey aimeelister - Ladygrim here - borrowing Nickibabes computer - Im hoping to do my carpets this week. Purchased a Bissell cleaner with upholstery attachements last year for about £150. Have already used it on kitchen floor, and it was great. Friend borrowed it for his carpets and said it worked a treat. Am actually looking forward to doing mine! (how sad am I?)

    • Clean toilet ~ forgot to buy a new toilet brush :o will have to just put stuff down it for now. :o
Well I've made a start. Dishes are all washed, except for my lunch dishes which are in use ATM :rotfl:But the livingroom looks worse than it did this morning  I've just had a sort out of mine & OH's bookcase and put all my household management, gardening & cookery books in the kitchen which made enough room on the shelves for the new books we got at Christmas. Still need to tackle DD's but I don't know where to start! I think some of her activity books will need to be hidden in the filing cabinet... that the only solution I can think of ATM  There are times when I wish DD wasn't such an avid reader..usually when it comes to finding somewhere to store the books! :rotfl:

Once I've done DD's bookcase, I'll attempt the CD/DVD unit  Then I'll tackle the paperwork until 3pm. Then I'll have to go and pick DD up and attempt the non-chemical way of de-licing her suggested on NHS-Direct.... loads of conditioner & a nitcomb _pale_ I feel the need to have popcorn and a movie ready for her to watch ;)

Right, off to check email and then onwards and sideways to DDs bookcase :rotfl:

Why is my list not getting any shorter?

    Thanks for the list Moggins.

I was about to have a skive for an hour while DD is asleep. (Even thought about joining her). But came to this thread and now I am inspired to do something - living room here I come!

 Not sure I am cut out for this fly lady lark. Just discovered that in cleaning out the shoe cupboard and flinging some of the shoes (old ones) that I had thrown out one old and one new school shoe for DD No2. She is left with two left shoes!!!!! Not a happy bunny.

THEN - tesco.com ring me and tell me my delivery is NOT coming (after painstakingly drawing up my menu plan and ordering online) cos my CC declined - even though online I have the available funds and I made the payment on the 29th December.

One last hope is that the bank are going to 'clear down' the payment for me and tesco.com are goingt to wait till 1.30 and then try to process the payment again.

    Mondays Mission is:

Do dailies including at least one load of washing - DONE

Living room - Hoover, dust, remove sofa cushions and (after checking for change) hoover those sofas. Tidy away anything that shouldn't be there. Check for cobwebs, hoover hallway and take up anything on stairs that needs to go up into bedrooms.- DONE

Tackle one hotspot and file away any post that needs to be kept and has been dealt with.

    Make any important phone calls.

See if there is any part of the evening meal that you can prepare in advance.

Thanks - I've just flown through the living room. Need to file paperwork, aaaargh. I just hate it! :D

Today's parctice run of getting the boys to school went OK.... Ok I took the boys and there was no school. :o

Came home & tried to crack on but the mind was willing but body seemed not... until I found a good CD, turned up the volume and 'flew' around the L/Room.

    So I have
[STRIKE]Do dailies including at least one load of washing -
[/STRIKE] The load was Christmas tablecloths so now dried and in attic, also the settee throw.
[STRIKE]Living room - Hoover, dust, remove sofa cushions and (after checking for change) hoover those sofas. Tidy away anything that shouldn't be there. Check for cobwebs,[/STRIKE] Seemed to take forever as there were lots of 'bits' and I kept getting sidetracked (ended up tidying in hall and kitchen  )

hoover hallway and take up anything on stairs that needs to go up into bedrooms. ooo - didn't spot this one, and it does need doing, so pleased it's on Moggins list!

Tackle one hotspot and file away any post that needs to be kept and has been dealt with. (erm, does filling it into the basket that fills & overflows before I deal with it count???)

Make any important phone calls. - read moggins post and remembered I wanted to call re allotments, have done, but he's out :(

See if there is any part of the evening meal that you can prepare in advance.

[STRIKE]Eat the large tube of jaffa cakes I forgot to give boys at christmas[/STRIKE] :D enjoyed that one!

Late here today, as working this morning. I really should be washing down the walls in DD's bedroom, and not sitting here reading the thread! If I have time I shall do the sittingroom after I've picked up from school. Or tomorrow :D

(Interesting to see teaching fly ladies. I taught until I had DS1 and have been a SAHM since. He's now 16, and next week I am starting a Return to Teaching Course! I may be mad, but having so much time to think while he was so ill last April has inspired several life changes. I'm really excited about doing the course, and really hope that I shall be back full time from September. The house must be sorrted by then!)
