If you have followed todays list then apart from your dailies tomorrow will be a free day. If not then use it to catch up with any jobs from the last week that you didn't get done.

LOL! Thats me busy today then. Hopefully next week I might keep up. I can already see a big difference in my house. And  it seems to be catching. DH and DD's seem to be joining in.

    Lovely lazing everyone.

    Afternoon all :hello:

Well I spent so much time this week working on paperwork that I'm playing catch up today. OH is home so he will be helping out to some extent...will probably involve him doing the ironing, dishes and taking me to Asda for the weekly shop (only because I want to buy a new dinner service!) :D

    So far I have :
    • Tidied masterbedroom (incluing putting thing away from when we went away and odd Christmas stuff :o )
    • Stripped both beds
    • Swiped bathroom
    • 1 load in WM (going to put it out upstairs above heaters in a minute.
    • re-organised 3 cupboards in the kitchen
    • Breakfast, dressed & washed.
Still to do on todays list :
    • DD's bedroom - can't do ours properly until her's is sorted as thats where our main storage area is
    • Asda shop
    • Washing
    • Meal plan from what we have in.
    • School night routine including OH bathing DD.
    • Make beds
Everything else can wait unless I have time ;) Off to write my shopping list down so I can take it with me :rotfl:

Craftyscholar - ditto re needing to clean up things I put on the PC.
I did make a start pre christmas by working out how to save a few things to disk - but I'm sure there must be a quicker way. I'm not even sure it was successful so ended up not deleting the files from the hard drive just in case!

I've taken most of the trimmings down now and boxed, just got 1 crimbo sign to go and the tablecloth/napkins. oh, and the small (yeah right) task of taking down & packing away the two trees. At least all baubles, lights etc are packed away.
Going to have 5 with my cuppa as I think taking my meds late has had a bad effect on me (had to go to Tesco to pick up as had run out - don't know how as was sure I had more when I filled my box this week?)
Assignment yet to be done too. Starting to feel like it's all getting too much again..... I shouldn't have gone shopping yesterday. Me and crowds = wipe out for a few days.

I had a lie-on today - didn't get up until 7.45 (that's late for me). But then I stripped the bed, washed that and another load of clothes etc. Hanging round the house because it's raining (surprise, surprise).

Have remade the bed, and just finished lunch (all fresh veg etc. lovely).

And I managed to read the paper in between.

Now I'm just answering the phone. Keep getting stupid calls from BT messaging service but you can't hear the message because it's "blank, or a music or picture file". I assume the idea is I ring the number sending them and it will cost me wads of money. Three times now, it's really annoying me, but I can't ignore the phone because my daughter is back from holiday today and it could be her ringing.

I really need to join in on this as I am terrible at cleaning the house and it looks like a dumping ground at the moment.

Will update later on how I get on

I've heard you're all a friendly bunch over here on OS and i've heard lots about fly lady. Can a newbie join in as this year I AM going to sort out my house and my finances. This is just the sort of thing I need to motivate me when I'd much rather curl up with a book! Off to put a wash on and clean the kitchen (it wasn't done last night but will be done before we go to bed from today onwards). Have a productive day everyone.

i too am aiming to sort out finances and house when i would rather curl up with a book - keep posting and reading keeps me motivated! lots of support for both
