Wow, did I fly today..... around Ikea and the designer outlet
Christmas trimings are still up, but really need to come down.
1 long assignment left
House needs another 'blessing'.... or is 'exorcism' more appropriate when it needs this much??? Nah, TBH, the frequent fly-athons are paying off and it doesn't seem to bad today. It just goes to prove that it doesn't matter how many times you fall off the wagon, it's the getting back on that counts (and the sooner the better, lol)
For those with darlings that need to learn to fly there is a new series starting on Cbbc on Monday called 'Clutter busters'. For those without Freeview (or similar) it's on early Monday morning on BBC2, for those with CBBC freeview/sky etc it's on at 6:30. From what I gather it's a programme where kids have to declutter their rooms by throwing and selling stuff - my boys seem interested.
According to Tesco 'Cherokee' my children are already washing their own clothes..... printed on the inside of their clothes are wash instructions ' to wash drop on floor' (or something like that). See I knew we were doing it right - just waiting for them to get clean now....:rotfl:
Love to all,

If you have followed todays list then apart from your dailies tomorrow will be a free day. If not then use it to catch up with any jobs from the last week that you didn't get done.
Yes, Moggins. Promise, Moggins.
We will be good Moggins0 -
Didn't post yesterday, but did get my list done - stripped the bed and did a wash load, 27 fling boogie, shined sink, sorted a drawer, dusted and tidied bedroom, tackled a hotspot, copied two recipes, and put away clean clothes.
Today I wasn't so well-behaved.I shined my sink, did my menu plan and shopping list and copied two recipies, but didn't even touch the pile of ironing I wanted to do. Will do that tomorrow. I did a lot of reading though, and a good deal of browsing through the Tightwad Gazette, which has given me some food for thought.
So, tomorrow is dailies, ironing and pushing the hoover around downstairs.
Also, apart from a headache that woke me up at 4.30 this morning, I seem to have shaken off that threatening cold. Hoorah! However, I'll probably still use it as an excuse to have a lie-in tomorrow.Sealed Pot Challenge 5 - #1742 :j0 -

Evening all,
Well if you'll have me i'm going to bite the bullet and join your challenge. I have had a productive couple of days so feel like i'm in the right frame of mind to thing about getting things more organised. Still feel like there is a mountain to climb but with your help and support i am going to give it my best shot. The problem mainly is that i have suffered PND for the best part of 5 years so things in the house have gone by the wayside as i somedays struggle even to get dressed, make a meal and see to my two boys. But today is a good day and i have set about trying to make changes that will hopefully help me in my recovery. My DH spent most of yesterday sorting the finances out, transfering balances etc.
THINGS DONE TODAY INCLUDE
*food shopping done
*returned broken contract phone
*sorted and cleaned crockery cupboard
*cleared out and washed food cupboard
*washed out another cupboard and juggled food around so it's easier to see what i have
*cleaned cereal cupboard
* sorted out medication box
*beef casserole already cooked for tomorrows dinner
*sink cleaned and shone
*2 loads of washing done and dried
Just about to start meal planning for next week now i know what we have in the cupboards.
JOBS FOR TOMORROW
*wash my beddingDONE
*sweep and wash downstairs floorsDONE BUT NOT THOROUGHLY
*clean kitchen windowsDONE
*iron 30 itemsDONE
*spend 1/2 hour tidying bedroom (looks like a bomb has hit it!!)DH HAS SPENT $ HOURS TIDYING< SORTING< CLEANING ETC AND IT'S LIKE A NEW PIN
*go out for a long family walk with our 2 boysDONE
*bake some buns with boysGONE TO FRIENDS FOR TEA
*make sure meal planner is completeDONE
So i'm pretty proud of myself and DH and want to thank you all for giving me inspiration to try and get sorted out.:T :T :T
