ALTHOUGH i am rather pleased with myself that i achieve all those things every day! didn't happen only a few months ago :j:T

it did seem lots to get done in day - i hope i will be as effective in a few months too :rotfl:

Do dailies - not sure what these are yet i'm going to make a list

Wash, dry and iron all school uniforms - washed and dried off to iron

30 mins of paperwork. - again longer but soa is now sorted on posted
    Tackle one hotspot - hmmm

Sort out one cupboard (anywhere in the house - you choose) hmmm

Do meal plan for following week - did this using what had in cupboard so min spend and then did shopping for it

Run hoover round high traffic areas. dh did this :j

Do washing up before you go to bed tonight, shine that sink and spend 10 minutes tidying living room and plumping cushions before you go to bed. will do

so does that mean just dailies tomorrow as i suppose all would go to pot without doing those!! perhaps that is what my problem has been :rotfl:

I don't dare come back until I have done at least something either lol.. I bet we are all the same on that score.. so if you don't hear from me for a few days I am either dead or being utterly lazy.. and quite likely the latter!

I am off to watch a few episodes of stargate as reward for being a good pig and tidying my mess.. my bedroom looks fantastic.. compared to what it was anyway.. most people would still die on contact lol.

I have just rejigged the central heating too as it was affected by our power cut at new year so was all out of sync,.. no idea how as the power was off for 23 hours and 50 minutes!! anyway.. it is now going off earlier and not going off in the middle of the day and freezing me to death.. actually I might go rejig again so it is off for the hour I am doing dinner as it is always boiling then.. yep.. I'll do that next time I go up. (I talk to myself like this all the time!)

Well done everyone - you all seem much more productive than me. However, sink is shiny, the tree and decs are all sorted, cards checked for addresses and my bedroom is (nearly0 straight again.

Well, ive been busy, but i still have a lot to do. decided i would get rid of the old things in my wardrobe, just need to decide now whether to sell on ebay, or take to the charity shop. Ive cleaned the bathroom, toilet and the kitchen and ive also washed DSs bedding and re made his bed. Im about to whip the hoover around before putting my 2 to bed. Ive spent far too long on MSE today, but thats the beauty of weekends, we can go at our pace!!!!
Oh, and my sink is still shiny!!!!

:rotfl: pigpen! i am glad it's not only me :rotfl:
guess we are in the same boat then :o - if i don't show up always go for the 'lazy' part too ;)

haven't done anything else after my last post :D

well, i did spent some 'quality time' with OH ... in front of the tv :rotfl:
I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work ;)
  • Despite still having a stinky cold and not sleeping for most of the night, me and DH have achieved loads today.
    • Xmas tree and inside decs down
    • cards taken down, sorted into make tags or recycle
    • address book updated - a new one so i have copied all addresses across
    • asda shop done - spent marginally less than normal
    • xmas paper, cards, and general wrapping paper bought cheaply in the sale. Paper sorted into xmas or birthday, so one cupboard is more organised
    • I finished reading my book
    • 1 load through WM
    • bedsheets finally rescued from the TD from the other day
    • yesterdays load put through TD - will rescue that tomorrow
    • airers emptied
    • 2 bags taken to charity shop
    • storage boxes bought so i can finally put maternity clothes in loft ready for next time ;)
    • cards written and addressed for January birthdays/events
    • presents wrapped for DH's boss's new baby

The house looks huge without the decs up. Also spent an hour on the phone talking to my mum as i daren't visit due to chicken pox risk.

    Tomorrows plan:
    • pack clothes into box to go in loft
    • DH to take tree to be shredded
    • All cardboard recycling to tip - probably 2 trips worth as it hasn't been done in a while
    • me to menu plan and roast two chickens (currently 2 for £5 at ASDA) for meals through week, sandwiches and freezer
    • at least one load through WM
    • some ironing, although this depends on how long it takes DH to do his tax return

I'm feeling lots better now it looks like something has been done,:T as quite often i just tidy up after me and the baby and it looks like nothing happened all day.

Enjoy your day off for those taking it. Otherwise, try and spend some time on yourself and something you enjoy :D

    LOL at you lot :D

And a swift kick too as if you can just get your frannies moving for the next week you will see how things start to settle down and you actually get more time for yourselves. After all this is the whole objective, to give you more free time, not to rope you in to a never ending stream of housework.

If you have followed todays list then apart from your dailies tomorrow will be a free day. If not then use it to catch up with any jobs from the last week that you didn't get done.
