Try a program called Ccleaner - it whizzes round your PC deleting all the temp internet files and wastebasket stuff. Not too painful and gets rid of stuff you didn't even know you had - my PC was loads quicker after I ran it the first time. You can just search for CCleaner in the techie forum - sorry I can't find the link just now..

AND I WILL PUT MY CEREAL BOWL IN THE DISHWASHER!!!!! (my husband laughs at how consistently I leave my bowl on the computer desk when I'm done with it)

LOL! Me too! All the time! (in fact it's sitting next to me now!)

    My task for today:

    - Finish article for TFN.

That's it, but when I finish that, I'll look at doing something else, but that has to be the priority as if I don't hand it in, I don't get paid!

Have a good free day everyone

Well, so far i have gotton up (and that was a struggle this morning!!!) Stripped my bed and put it in the WM. My sink is shiny and that is it so far.
My flylady plans are to hang up washing once the cycle has finished, and then sort out my bedroom. All the sorting i did yesterday ended up in my room, so at least its all in one area. Im also hoping to list some bits on ebay, and nip the hoover around upstairs, and the stairs themselves.
Not a huge list, but lots of sorting to keep me busy.

    Morning all

Moggins words of wisdom for today are: if your husband is working night shift do not let him get home and catch you still in bed otherwise you will stay there for at least 30 minutes longer ;)

I finally escaped and am yet to have my first coffee luckily I don't have much to do today apart from cook the tea and bath the kids :D
Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

    Hiya
I've heard you're all a friendly bunch over here on OS and i've heard lots about fly lady. Can a newbie join in as this year I AM going to sort out my house and my finances. This is just the sort of thing I need to motivate me when I'd much rather curl up with a book! Off to put a wash on and clean the kitchen (it wasn't done last night but will be done before we go to bed from today onwards). Have a productive day everyone.

My main problem is the stuff I know I have on my puter cause I put it there. Cut and paste items of interest etc. Need to make folders, clearly labelled and put things in order. (Need to make MSE folder - keep finding useful bits I want to save)

    Hiya
Nice to see a familiar name. It would have to be any book other than a text book i'm afraid. I still like to read for pleasure occasionally!

Since my last post i've put the washing machine on, added clothes to the ironing pile (hubby's job) and now i'm off to make a start on the kitchen that truly looks like a bomb had hit it.

Morning everyone! (well, if I type fast, it will still be morning just!)

I slept really badly Friday night, and felt overtired and headachy all day, BUT I did manage to keep up with the list! :j

Very pleased that I had already done some of the items (school uniforms, lunchboxes and menu planner) already.

Please tell me, am I the only one on here who has lists for all sorts of things? I like crossing them off as done - and yes, on a bad day I have been known to start the list with several things i've already done just so I can feel better when they're crossed off at once??!! :o

While doing the bedroom bit on Friday I came across my huge stack of photos waiting to be sorted, and had a lovely time going through them with DS1. We've decided to get some of the best black and white ones enlarged and framed, as well as some of the ones of my grandmother and mother together.

I have to spend time today with DD learning her German for an exam this week, but will do 15 mins in the bedroom at least!

    Have a lovely Sunday everyone.
