Well apart from finding my sons library book (which I have given up doing until he's at school tomorrow
), finish tea (which is in oven, kids have eaten) and bath DS1, 10 mins before bed tonight in living room, wash dinner plates and then that's it until tomorrow. So pleased I got through all those bank statements, were weighing the filing cabinet I just sorted down and it's only wood so was scared would collapse.
LJD1 part of why I like this thread so much is it makes a what is mostly thankless and rarely paid job of doing housework something which can be looked on as being achieved. One day I might be more organised...........

Hi LJD and everyone else!
Which OU course are you studying? I'm doing Beginners' Spanish, and need to finish my TMA to post very soon. It can be quite hard to fit everything in: family, work, study, housework, etc, etc, can't it? I am finding this Flylady challenge very useful for keeping on top of things, as I now keep making lots of lists, and really enjoy crossing off completed tasks!0 -
Today I have done 1 load washing and drying
Sorted kids reading books out and on to a new bookcase.
Quick hoover
Walked dogs and played with kids.Always on the hunt for a bargain0 -

I'm doing Human Biology, level 2. It's really fasincating but as you've said, it's hard to fit everything else in. Lil_me summed this site up (can't believe i've only just found it), all those little jobs that have to be done and normally I put off because....well, I just do. Today, I actually felt i've acheived something and deserve a break. The added bonus was that my hubby also got the bug so he's done loads too. I've got one child in bed, the other is reading until 8pm then it's time for a treat! Hope everyone's had a good day xxJanuary budget

You're spot on there hun
Thanks for the support Moggins - I finally finished the assignment, but no idea if it's what she (tutor) wantsShe's shot me down a couple of times with regards as to how much work she wants/doesn't want.
I could've answered this one in a few sentences - but there's also a book on the subject:rolleyes: so how is one to know what she requires??? (I'm not the only one who struggles on this) I've done 2 pages on that one (typed is MS font 12). Hopefully it will suffice!
Right, off to do the rest of my 'to do list'. It'll be nice to start the college week with a nice clean house.... (DUCK! - flying pigs!!!)
Hmm, but I really ought to update my spends today too - and I don't want to leave it until tonight because then I'll not get to bed (If I'm spotted online after 10:30pm I'm to be sent into coventry)
Right, best get that done first,
Love and hugs
