Morning all. I hope the day shines bright for you all. thanks for all the suggestions I will try freecycle.
I shall have to pop off and do my dailies before I go and pick up the oldies for shopping. I really need to strip the throw off the sofa and wash it today.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things
F U Fund currently at £2500 -
Okay didnt do a huge amount of flyladying yesterday as 1. I was at work and 2. have come down with a stinky cold. However did do all my dailies and when I sat down last night felt really pleased with myself cause everywhere looked neat and tidy (not totally clean but getting there). have a huge smug sense of satisfaction when I go into the hall/stairs and landing or the little ones room and the Kitchen is getting there - small bits each day and it all mounts up.
Right Moggins list for today:
Today is the home office/study/computer desk, tidy, dust, delouse, what ever you need to do to make it nice and clean and tidy. Do not do what the moggins does unless you have a plastic end to your hoover nozzle (I keep getting told off by the guy in the computer shop as I hoover inside my computer) Okay will do this this evening whilst the little one is in bed, and I am surfing the net. Did quite well on Wednesday night sorting this out but needs to be finished - there are also several jobs connected to this one that I may do sperately and hit as hot spots e.g weeding out bills/credit card statements/bank statements etc just keeping them for a year. Also have tonnes of DVD/CDs which have been written to but no record of whats on them:o so they need to be sorted
Conservatory/Utility. Declutter and tidy.not got one of these so will clean the cooker and fridge instead. the oven rails and grill pans (double oven) already soaking in bath of bio powder bought specially for the job - just need to get some oven cleaner when I go for the shopping
Dailies and nightime routines and don't forget to get any uniforms in the wash.Dailies and night time routine ok. no Uniforms to wash but have done one load of washing which is in the TD now and another load is on - may do master bedroom sheets today as well as missed the flyday yesterday due to being at work
have fun everyone0 -
Hex2.. that was about the time I was really pleased to be married to a proper stonemason!! He brought a drill bit home from work and took about a minute to whizz through the walls.. good job really as we had 3 layers to go through.. if he can be of any assistance I can send you his phone number!!!
Just got to get the chimps off to school and I can jump on the list for today.. starting with.. those 3 tesco crates.. they have been in the hallway/doorway for almost 3 months now it is time they were gone!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Morning folks!
This is my second day doing the challenge and I'm an eager beaver, was up this morning at 7am (virtually unknown) thinking of what to do firstGood excuse today to do the cupboard at the top of the stairs as man is here fixing the boiler and requested that it be emptied (can't think why....oh yes he couldn't get to it lmao), so I seized the opportunity and have emptied it and I'm gonna start sorting through it in a bit, there's 2 yrs of 'stuff' so it might take me a while
Moggins list: Computer desk is in master bedroom so done yesterday - hoorah! :j but I AM gonna tackle my utility room ( the porch) with a sweeping brush and a cloth, it's tidy so nothing to move etc
other things to do:
* hoover through the lounge, dining room, kitchen
* put TD on
* Try and find out how to do Ebay, never done it before and I've got a ton of stuff to flog
* Make beds
* general swish and swipe around the house
* Prepare Spag Bol for tonights tea
* Look at the ironing I never got round to yesterday
* Sort out 'stuff' from cupboard and find a box to store keepable things in to put back in cupboard
* Read and delete Emails
Have a good one everybody0 -
Morning Girls. Hope everyone is having a productive morning flying!
I have been doing the flylady challenge for a couple of weeks now, and it has really benefited myself and my family already. Just wanted to know if others have done the "control journal", that is mentioned a lot on the flylady site? Have a good day and a great weekend everyone! x

Mmmm think I might have to sulk today. You've picked our two worst rooms but tackle them I must. Aaaahhh is the doorbell I hear, oh, and the cat wants a cuddle and..... ok, ok, i'm going to get started after lunch when I finish work.January budget
Nothing left!0 -
i was going to post some pictures of the HUGE mountain of washing I got through yesterday, but my memory card got screwed up unfortunately.
So you'll just have to take my word for it that my couch is empty! :T
Things to do for today:
Toilet: done
make master bed: done
Kitchen SS (DW loaded, counter tops clear and clean) : done
WM done 1 x
Dryer done 1x
washing folded done 1x (more to come as always!)
Still to do:
Hoover downstairs
mop floor downstairs
Ironing
keep kitchen tidy
The kids will get instructed to make their beds and do a 10 item fling boogie when they get home from school and the baby is awake.
I cannot do Moggin's list as I don't have a computer/work station. I've got a laptop, and the main computer cabinet is DH's domain. The good thing about it is, it has doors... that close. End of problem.
I feel SOOO good!!
Last night I had dancing class and when I got in at 11 pm I found that DH had NOT bothered to load the DW and all the dirty dishes sat piled up in the kitchen, and he was snoring away in bed.
I chatted with my sister for a bit, and DID clear the kitchen before I went to bed! Even shined my sink!
It put such a smile on my face when I walked into the kitchen this morning!
What a wonderful feeling!
Have a good day all!!

My main problem with the house thing was this: I'd go mad cleaning up for a few days.. yell at the kids.. and drive myself around the bend.
Then my house would be clean and tidy. And I'd feel good, but I'd be the only one!.. I swear, when my house is clean NOBODY comes round!
Then swiftly the clutter and junk would take over again, and as murphy's law predicts, in the hight of messy mess.. an unexpected visitor would arrive.
I'd be ashamed.. trying to shove crap off of the couch to make space for my visitor to sit, and hope they don't follow me into the kitchen chatting while I make a cuppa.
(You know this one don't you sis!!)
And I'd be so embarrassed and ashamed that I'd go back to yelling at my family to clean up like idiots and we'd start over again.
When kids ask me: did you fill in that form I need for school, I'd panick. What note? WHERE did it go????
i'm sick of it. i want to be organised. I want to be on top of things. I want to not have a heart attack when the doorbell rings.
This morning a friend of mine came over.. and though I love her to death, I could hardly wait for her to go home again!!.. because my hands were itching to get going! While she went to make us another coffee, I did a quick SS on the toilet even!... WHile I used to use such visits as an excuse to stay sat on my backside!
Yesterday when DH came home from work he looked around the lounge with surprise and asked me: "Did your computer crash??" (as in, nothing else to do so I started cleaning out of frustration..)
I hang my head in shame!.. :rotfl:
So off I go again.. I want to hoover and mop the floor before the rest of the kids get home from school!
:j
And people who know me, will now scratch their heads and call for an ambulance. There MUST be something seriously wrong with me!
