I'm just hoping that the boot sale sessions start before June! I really need some baby stuff for DD1 and the baby stuff is normally really cheap at the bootsales. It's even more desparate now as her boyfriend has sacked her from her job for being too hormonal and she now has to claim jobseekersOrganised people are just too lazy to look for things

I'm too posh for Lidl.. DH goes to Aldi lol.
Last time I went to Lidl I had to get a Polish guy to tell me what was in a tin because it was all foreign writing and the picture looked like it was a tin of pizza!! (turns out it was vegetable soup!) That sort of put me off somewhat.. they do get some dantastic plants in there though.
I want some of the hanging strawberries this year.. they bring me out in a terrible rash but they are delish! Thinking of raspberry canes too.. we had some at the old house and last year didn't have a garden, it was a building site! so this year we can do something good. We are thinking of getting a couple of fruit trees to grow against the sunny wall too.. ok 'I' am. I really miss my eucalyptus tree from the old house too, we had it from being about 12 inches tall!.. best water Howea, while I remember.. he is looking a bit limp.
Anyway.. be back tomorrow to get myself to my 500th post! *grin*

If she was legitimately employed she could take him to a tribunal and seek compensation for that!!! It is practically impossible to 'fire' anyone who is pregnant now.
Shame you don't live here I have boxes and boxes and boxes of baby stuff you could have... free for space!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Unfortunately she was never legitimately employed! They just ran the pub together (his name is on the licence) and she got paid for the hours she worked behind the bar! She still does the cleaning, all the paperwork, sorts the orders out, cleans the line etc etc, she just doesn't get paid for it! Until she sees the light there is not a damm thing I can do about it. Her dad, grandparents and me are all waiting there with the money for a rent deposit and for the first couple of months rent on a flat when she does finally leave him.
Trouble is she's so proud she doesn't want to be seen as a young single mum living off the stateOrganised people are just too lazy to look for things

Today is the home office/study/computer desk, tidy, dust, delouse, what ever you need to do to make it nice and clean and tidy. Do not do what the moggins does unless you have a plastic end to your hoover nozzle (I keep getting told off by the guy in the computer shop as I hoover inside my computer)
Conservatory/Utility. Declutter and tidy. - Not going to happen today!
Dailies and nightime routines and don't forget to get any uniforms in the wash. - Kids still on holidays - uniforms not an issue yet.If there is to be any peace, it will come through being, not having - Henry MillerM.A.C.A.W Member . . Wannabe Flybaby0 -
Hi. Anyone mind if I join in this. I tried flying last year and just got overloaded with emails, I'd get home from work and discover my inbox was full of them!! Really need to get into gear with decluttering, organising and generally keeping the house a little tidier and cleaner. Then maybe, just maybe we won't spend 2 days before my parents come to visit frantically cleaning and tidying the house so that she doesn't pass comment.Debts: Mum £3923 0% APR0

She wouldn't need to live off the state with you lot to support her I bet!!! It is a very hard decision to make.. but she will grow out of this phase eventually. I felt exactly the same when I had my first too, so I totally empathise.

I like tomorrows list moggins, trouble is, my computer is also the 'dumping ground' so a major hotspot there!!!
No conservatory or utility room tho, so plenty of time to sort out said hotspot!!!0 -
Sorry to hear that Moggins, maybe try freecycle for baby stuff, there is always offers on my local one.
Decided after spending so much time sat at it tonight will do the desk now, well some of it at least. Best move that broken bra before my Dad comes over tomorrowrest of the house I am pleased to say thanks to the support and encouragement on here I don't feel scared that they are coming over! So a sincere heartfelt thanks to everyone, before now I would have made excuses and gone to their house (costing me a fortune in petrol)
One day I might be more organised...........

Well moggins, I've decided I must join you tomorrow!!
Oh what a shame, I don't have an office/study/computer desk ( we all have laptops!!) Oh no!! I don't have a conservatory/utility! Oh woe is me:rotfl: :rotfl:
Seriously, though I WILL do something. I've been keeping a shiny sink and flylady does have something. It's really encouraging when the kitchen looks good each time I go in there:D Come to think of it, that was something my dear Mum did without the benefit of flylady:T
Good luck to those with all the above;)
