evening all, enjoying my nightly dose of six feet under on More4 :D

did ok today, considering i did a fair bit of work work and had a leisurely lunch out!

moggins list: master bedroom.(the only bedroom, visitors get my study floor/futon!)
Change bedding, hoover the mattress, hoover the floor, dust, remove all dirty laundry from the bedroom, put away anything on the floordrobe! do a 5 fling boogie in your wardrobe.will prob be in drawers but will do on way to bed! Wipe down light switches, doors and doorframes and go cobweb hunting.

    Remember dailies and nightime routines
Tackle one hotspot. - in tray - hmm, kind of done, it's an ongoing challenge

    my list:
    sort the shower
    return timer to homebase
phone friend about cottage (might catch her in this time!) had a text back so getting somewhere!
empty all bins & rubbish out will do in morning before go away
pack bag for OHs on fri

sold my first stuff on amazon marketplace and made £40 for 2 DVD boxsets that cost me about £15 each 3 years ago :D consequently have listed another 20 things, but they are books etc so perhaps not so likely to go!

am pretty busy tomorrow, work to do before meeting at lunchtime, then straight up to OHs til late sat. but as study is my problem area i'm gonna put timer on for 45 mins and at least attempt to get somewhere with the blessed in tray! can work on the train in the aft!!

Aaarrgggh....'doing' the master bedroom in my case consisted of - repacking and stacking all boxes and binbags already there, in order to get 4 dining chairs, one wicker armchair, two sofa cushions and the TV/VCR (on stand) in there from the living room. Didn't get home till 11pm tonight, had to remove all the above to get in the bedroom. Now have 2 dining chairs on kitchen worktops, weeping fig on hob, other furniture in hall - will have to repack it all in bedroom in the morning in order to be able to get out of front door tomorrow to go to work.
Thought of putting 2 chairs in the bath instead of back in my room in the morning but CANNOT do this in case the decorator thinks I don't wash in it. Pathetic or what:confused:
Would love to have a conservatory and utility room, to store my furniture if nothing else;)
PC desk in master bedroom, nuff said.;)
Off to shine my sink and get to bed.
    Happy flying everyone:)

nikki, i don't want to offend but to read your daily battle with mould distresses me. your landlord is scum to let you live like this. it sounds terrible from your posts and you are probably paying loads to stay there? i hope you find somewhere to buy or else rent somewhere else as this is not good for any of you. hugs

Like to join in but won't be doing conservatory today - it's usually like a dumping ground in there during Winter as it's freezing in there but I had one of the glass panels smashed in the wind last week so it's even colder and I don't fancy trying to sort it with my coat, scarf and gloves on!

Joined Flylady last night so will see how I go on.

Just one question - what are dailies? Is it your own list or something that comes from Flylady or what?

    Moggins,

Off topic but post asking for babystuff on freecycle. When I offered mine I was inundated with requests. In future I will just look out for askers!

Also is there a formal record of him having paid your daughter? If there is then a contract of employment existed (regardless of lack of pieces of paper) and she can sue the pants off him... My specialist subject, so if there is a way to get at him I can help.......

Home today after three days of work. Everything is still fairly good from the weekend tidy and I de-cluttered everything pre moving, so it is just a quick general clean, chuck out papers, and a trot round with the dyson. Still no DW or TD. OH has managed to drill through two thirds of the stone but middle third is proving a problem. Hopefully we get this sorted this weekend.
I also have two sets of curtains to shorten, but I suspect these will remain on the list for a few weeks yet.
