but I've done Sweet FA apart from being glued to MSE
so you're doing a darn sight better than me :T .........
Can't do Moggins flylady plan yet because my [strike]dumping areas[/strike] hotspots are any surface including floor in every room!! ............
Oh, thank you for that Mics_chick! Although it's inspiring to read how well everyone is doing, it can make one feel a teensy bit inferior if not on form:rolleyes: . And I know what you mean about the hotspots - I either need more storage or just less STUFF, lol!
Well, I did go on the walk, and must admit I feel a bit better for it - and the cup of tea OH made for me when we got back:p And tomorrow is another day......:D[0 -

Oh if only I was Scarlet O'hara with a 19inch waist, an army of servants and pots of money... dream on... can't even dream about when I win the lottery cos I don't buy any tickets... :rotfl: :rotfl:
Have done a bit of stuff now:
- dw on
- gathered most of recycling stuff lying around into plaggy bags - put in car ready for recycley point 1st thing tomorrow
- sorted life insurance forms (been waiting a good coupla weeks)

Going to do:

- post important letters

Bennifred and Mics_chick, thank you both! After all my good intentions today has been a total washout! My sinuses have blocked again and are so painful! I sat soaking in the bath and the steam was just so easing, that I sat there for about 50 minutes, just topping up with hot water every so often!:rotfl: :rotfl: My energy went with the bathwater down the plughole:D So I'm prune-like but very clean, and the house isn't! (on both counts!!) But tomorrow is another day, and the mess isn't going anywhere:o Baby birds do a lot of fluttering before they fly, we're just perfecting the flutter:D
Better luck to you (and me!) tomorrow! You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -
Came on to moan about feeling tired then I read what everyone else had achieved.
Now I'm feeling guilty so had better get back to Flying
Did a quick hoover round, but main achievement is I tackled the cupboard under the stairs
Not a walk-in cupboard but 'kneel down and reach in' one. Was used to store tool box things but getting a bit more of a hassle to use.
So I now have tools in another cupboard that I can get to more easily (and some rubbish dumped)0 -
Think it's about time that I got back into the flylady way - started last year and flew off - Christmas came and Ilost the plot lol... anyways, new year, new start, new me, new home etc, etc, so seems a good place to start!
I did start my control journal so will have to whip that out and get organising!!

I've had a fairly productive day. It's getting a lot easier to work around the baby now he has a bit of a routine, and is old enough to entertain himself for short periods. He was even happy to sit in his bouncy chair and watch for a little bit while i got on.
Achieved today:- turkey stock strained and made into a veggie and turkey soup (used up all old veg which i would have binned last year :T )
- fridge checked for out of date items
- 2 of 3 bags unpacked from being away
- 2 loads through WM (one hung up, other to do still)
- put yesterdays washing up away
- washed up
- dealt with post, shredded and recycled unwanted stuff, will file rest when i go to bed, done internet tasks
- sent some new year texts to friends
- played with baby
- wiped living room window sill to remove cat prints
- washed mat the cats food goes on
- sorted cat food/bowls/litter tray
hubbie is going to pick up cats from cattery on his way home from work, and pick up bread and milk. When he comes in i will hang up the other washing, cook tea and swap the bedding on our bed.
I feel loads better about the challenge this time as i actually can see where i have been. Might not seem like i've done a lot, but it is so much more than what i did in december.
I like frugal fox's idea of the chart on the fridge for tasks and frequency, so i might try that.
Well done everyone, keep up your good work.

House is neat and tidy, though.
Moggins, we got into the habit of giving a brief reminder of today's Flylady Mission, to assist those of us who don't get the e-mails. Would you like to continue with that, or shall I carry on for the time being?
See you all properly tomorrow!
