I think I need to do the 30 min paperwork thing every day for the rest of the year........... Will action everything as it comes in though to prevent the pile that has accumulated on my desk........

    Decs away
    Sink shining
Dining room already done on 1st Jan (after decs put away) so Hall, landings etc for me ( I have 3 storey house so that is going to take some time and my back will be aching after dragging the old Henry up and down the stairs!!! So perhaps I can do an hours paperwork as that will involve sitting down!!!!!!!!!

Hotspot to be tackled and have yet to 27 fling boogie

thanks Moggins for setting this up - just the thing to get motivated in the NEw Year.

  • Hello :hello: I've been lurking around MSE for a while but don't post often but feel inspired by this thread to mend my ways and clean up the house, so can I play too please? Will have to fit in yesterday and today together as I've only just found you all but I'm feeling inspired. Think this is just the thing I need. Thanks for all the inspiration and I hope I'm still as enthusiastic tomorrow!

Wahoo I dont have a dinning room or hallway,so that means less housework! :j

Well the breadmaker is on,washing machine too. Also got the slow cooker on doing the beef for tea.

Going to get DS in the car armed with a carrier bag and pick up all those sweetie wrapers and empty fag boxes,I just hurl into the glovebox. He`s off school today and does absolutely nothing but eat, sleep and play on his playstation2.He is at the stage I like to call "Kevin and Perry Stage" Where asking him to help out with one small household task sends him into the "It`s soooo unfair, why do I have to do it,I`m not doing it,it`s your house you do it,ahhhhhhhh!" You get the drift? He does all the arm swishing too which can be quite funny which sets him off even worse.

Anyway, today I`m going to clean my porch including the outside of the front door.
    Clean Landing,
    Go shopping.
    Make bread buns.
Put clean bedding on my bed.
    Hoover bedrooms.
    Wash pots and wipe worktops.
Go to work this evening

    Morning babies!!

Welcome to all the new ones, of course you are welcome to join us. I 'm off to get dressed to my shoes as we all overslept this morning so now I have to fit more stuff into less time, that will teach me :D

Plus I have to get two kids ready to go back to school tomorrow. Just one uniform to iron though as DS was off school for 10 days before christmas.

Don't worry moggins I'm only just up and dressed too! Wanted to enjoy my last lie in before getting back to school tomorrow!

I have however, put all my ironing away. Done about 3 days ago but has been sitting in the basket since! So that's a start. Not the flybaby way I know! I will do better. :o

Off to Smith's now as I'm still looking for the first knitting mag.

Ooh will put the last load of washing in first I think!

Hope everyone's working well on their to do lists so far!
Wandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...

    Happy New Year!!!

Thank you for this thread Moggins. A very warm welcome to the many new Flybabies/Flybabes that have joined this thread. :hello: I like to mention you all by name but there are so many of you it's fab! :j My goodness you've all been so very busy. Unfortunately I did no flying yesterday having got in at 3am and slept for most of the morning then tried to play with DS and produce gorgeous roast dinner for ILs and family. But I will start today - promise. However, it's taken me most of the morning to catch up on this thread :rotfl:

    Today:
    Make beds
    Swish & Swipe ensuite
    WM one load
    TD one load
    Iron one load
    DW
    Calendar check
    What's for dinner?
    Post
15 mins paper control - now upto 30 mins
    15 mins emails

    27 fling boogie
    Xmas decs
Cards - address book and list already done (when the cards arrive) but must make into labels

Moggins - one of my resolutions is to start a control journal - please can you post the link to the thread where you discussed what you put in yours.

PS: Many thanks to all the Flybabes that have sent congratulations and best wishes on my pregnancy. I am feeling really really cr*p, lethargic and sick. This is a good thing as it mirrors my first pregancy which was successful but doesn't help with Flying

    Happy Flying. Punky x

You take it steady punky - pregnant ladies have an excuse for frequent rests.
