Is anyone running out of things for their 27 fling boogie yet? If I carry on doing it every day the house is gunna be empty! Saves cleaning I suppose?

Any how,got all my jobs done yesterday.YAY!

Really dont fancy doing the kids rooms, the littlest one aint too bad as you cant swing a cat in there. All that needs is a few toys picking up and a quick hoover.Should take all of 5 minutes.
But the eldests room is a nightmare, very easy too hoover though,I just stand at the door and push the hoover as far as the door is open and thats it! Dont even have to move a foot.

He has at least a weeks worth of clean clothes plonked on his computer chair. It`s a nightmare to get to his window,I need a hard hat and a safety harness before I start.
Why is it that some kids keep their rooms clean but mine are just like tramps?

So today I`m takng the easy option and doing the teeny bedroom, then the rest of the day looking for unwanted items to put on ebay.

I *completed* yesterdays tasks at 11.30 last night. Not as bad as it seems as I'd stopped to watch tv with DH.

Made my first 2 mistakes though :o , I'd baked banana bread with kids after school to use up the last of a load of ingrediants, including the last of my butter which I only realised when I went to make DH pack up.:wall:

The other thing having a lot more dishes to wash due to baking, I did some by hand and some in DW and left the hand washed things to dry instead of putting them away, which in turn has had to become this mornings job, giving me less time today.

DS tidying his bedroom yesterday has helped, there's still a bag of toys that want putting away that he didn't do and DD room to do, but she likes tidying up bedrooms so I'll do this with her this PM.

I've now done 1 load of washing, got it dried and put away. Just kids bedrooms to move onto for today. Thought I'd share some tips I know of. I always used to get mis-matched kids PJs, then I read about this. Fold the top half of the PJs and tuck down one leg of the trousers, then fold these. This way you always take out a matching set of PJs and it takes up less drawer space too.

I've also found in my kids rooms, I pair of DS jeans with a rip in leg. I was going to toss it in re-cycling but since he'll only be in house tonight after school he can wear them and when he goes to bed then they can go in re-cycling, cuts down on my washing. :T

Keeping myself busy this morning, have stripped, washed and hung up DSs bedding, leaned the bathroom and toilets, swished the kitchen, sorted some paperwork and made sticky pictures and cupcakes with the LOs!!!!
Still need to dust and hoover the front room (hoover tonight) and make the pizza for tonight.

well the first few days of the Flylady challenge have gone quite well, still feeling quite motivated!!! :D Did the master bedroom yesterday....clean sheets, dusted, cleaned windows and skirting boards. Then went round cleaning sticky finger marks off all the radiators...the joy of having toddlers!!! I can't remember where I heard it (probably Anthea Turner! :o ) but I tend to clean the radiators with a damp cloth and some fabric conditioner on it. The smell is really nice when the heating goes on; it lasts for quite a while too.

Did the food shop this morning (I just can't face Asda on a Saturday!) Going to do the children's rooms after lunch. Quick question....one bedroom is hubby's office, and one is a playroom - are they classed as bedrooms??? Just like susieb I think I am going to have to work myself up to sorting the playroom out!

Thanks to everyone for a good first week of "Flylady"! Have a great weekend everyone xxx

We have a playroom downstairs which looks like toys r us at the end of the first day of the sale!.. with a few boxes and binbags thrown in for good measure... we lost both the rabbits in there for an hour yesterday until I coaxed them out with carrots!! Took me longer to persuade my 2 year old to get out of their cage though!

I've made todays necessary phone calls though... I am trying REALLY hard to motivate myself to hit those bedrooms and it isn't working so I'm going to do an hour on the landing.. so if you see me here before 1:30pm.. slap me!!

And why does my clean twinkly bathroom smell of pee?????? We don't even have a loo in there (yet)

I've been Flying all morning, so the kitchen, cloakroom, hall and sittingroom are all done.:D (and all the washing too)

I'll probably leave the bedroom for tomorrow, as I've just booked a haircut for this afternoon; going to work placement next Wednesday, and need to feel I'm looking my best!

The children's bedrooms - mmmm. DD's bedroom is (as regular readers will know!) newly redecorated, and spotless. :D

DS1 and DS2's room is quite another matter... I think I'll have a go at them to tidy it tomorrow. I'm not above bribery either.;)
