    HopeElizzy - if your pantry seems to big to tackle in one go, how about doing one shelf at a time? That should make it much more manageable, and not nearly so overwhelming :)

    My bed sheets get changed every Sunday . . . but I only do the kids fortnightly (Bad mum!!)

    Here is how my day will stack up:

    Dailies: laundry - one load done, one to go; [STRIKE]Make bed[/STRIKE]; Swish; clear up breakfast mess.
    Vacuum;
    Wash floors;
    Household finances;
    Business finances - reconcile December accts;
    Order prescription from Doctor;
    Register trailer;
    Dinner - out of freezer and defrosting;
    Anything else that happens to come along . . .

    Well a job that wasn't on my list has been done..... I've gathered all the ebay stuff together in one place :eek: I didn't realise there was so much stuff! So for the foreseeable future you will see "ebay - 10 items" on my list :rotfl:

    have a tutorial tomorrow and am supposed to be preparing a brief presentation - so went upstairs to look for a specific text book - pulled everything off shelves in cupboard to find it (was on my list to fling boogie and hotspot - no contents on landing :mad: didn't find book but did manage to further distract myself by looking through photos (another hotspot job) so arrived down here thinking what else can i do to distract myself - ;) flylady and to my amusement/embarrasment i saw rach's link to blog re procrastination :rotfl: so off to write up flipchart thing, make rice salad for shared lunch at tutorial tomorrow and read some more things for a quiz (sounds fun but clearly not if reading involved to study for it!!) oh well, mustn't forget night time routines - hope everyone alright - go go go before i'm distracted again

    Evening peeps!
    Still confined to a few square feet of my home due to decorating, but did sort the hob out as well as 'shining' my (unshiny tan) sink. Overslept by 2 hours :eek: this morning, only woke up because of the shock of seeing Nelson Mandela (in my dream, long story, but thanks for the wake-up call mate). Got the bins out before tottering off to work without a packed lunch.
    Called some UK relatives to liaise over the Canadian visitors, discovered they have not been kept in the loop by the Canadians, much embarrassment on my part but hey our transatlantic cousins are so laid-back they think it's normal to turn up to stay at a couple of days notice....:rotfl:
    I always used to change the bedclothes weekly on Saturday mornings, but in recent years I just do it when I think about it.

  • Haven't been posting much, but have been keeping up for the most part. Also been trying to do 30 mins OS indexing and 15 mins garden planning each day.
    Tackled a big pile of ironing today too. :j

    I have to postpone today's tasks - long, long day at course, and it's such a long time since I've done anything like this, that I'm shattered!

    Did dailies, 2 loads of washing, weekly shopping, with DS1's help, and dinner, followed by washing up and baking a tray of flapjacks for children.

    Like the idea of emailing myself the daily list.

    Bit worried about the weather forecast for tomorrow, as I shall have to travel along motorway with lot of commercial highsided vehicles, guess I shall have to see what it is like, listen to the radio and decide whether to risk it.
