How often do you change your bedding???

Was chatting to a friend and as the weather forecast gives us a dry day for friday I said thats good its bed change day. Now I do my weekly, she does hers every 2 weeks or so.

So....just wondered how often are they suppost to be done. I like weekly as the bedding still smells fresh, if I could I would have clean bedding everyday.

So what is the flylady take on this??

Thursdays, just imagine how much you sweat during the night and all those skin cells sloughed off - would you like to sleep in that for two weeks? :(

My bed sheets are washed when I can be bothered to wrestle with the bed!.. not very often.. once a month?? ish.. if it is lucky. Thankfully I don't participate in contact sports very often so they aren't too nasty by then, and I keep my girly behaviour to myself. They were washed twice last week though as they had been on the bed one night and DD4 came and pee'd on my husband during the night lol.

    Wednesday Workload

    Do dailies

Today we are on to the kitchen, blitz those worktops. Give the cooker a good scrub, clean the inside of the microwave, wipe down appliances, sort out the fridge and clean that floor. My fridge is practically empty so that isn't difficult, everything gets wiped down whenever I do the worksurface.. though I do need to do round the toaster as it is covered in bread crumbs.. only downside to baking my own bread is the mess caused by cutting it!! Mike(rowave) has only been used twice since it was last cleaned last month so that is fine.. cooker top is vile.. must beat that with a scrubby cloth.. thankfully it is black lol

Tackle a hotspot .. my sofa in the back room seems to be dumping ground number 1 at the moment! I'll attack that in a mo.
27 fling boogie.. Done this before I even looked in here.. filled 2 huge carrier bags.. those really big ones from matalan.. *grin*

    Nightime routines.. *groan*

    [STRIKE]WM
    TD
    DW
    BM[/STRIKE] (dh did this)
fold and put away clean laundry
[STRIKE]brought laundry down from boys room
filled the second wheelie bin[/STRIKE] (I hate putting 2 bins out if they are not both completely full to the brim.. makes me feel like I have flung stuff and tidied at least a little)
need to bring Henry downstairs and suck the front room.. but it is too heavy so will have to wait until someone who can lift him comes home.

So from the 2 replies I am normal changing them once a week then. She looked at me as if I was some kind of clean freak!

I change mine once a week too, might sometimes be a day late if I've got loads of other washing for some reason (so nowhere to dry them) but I aim for once a week.

Now I'm just sitting down to a cup of tea (with teabags I found hiding in the back of the cupboard  ) and a sandwich and cake (or 3 :shhh: ) while the hob finishes soaking. ;)

Hope peeps who are feeling under the weather get better soon.

As for bedding... I change ours every Sunday on Bath night.
