Good Morning - what a lot of early birds there are on here today!!
A quiet day for me - day 3 without the family so getting used to my own company and no bickering!!!
From the look of the above threads, it seems that ironing is the order of the day and for me it is no exception. I think I saw someone on here yesterday say that under no circumstance should anyone do any ironing on new years day - that is good enough for me but it does mean that it needs to be done today instead!!!
I have some more freezer cooking to do today - making up a huge vat of bubble and squeak. Unfortunately I am running out of containers to freeze things in but I know there is a tub of ice cream in the freezer which may have to get eaten. Just for the tub, you realise.....!
Have a very happy New Year's Eve and here's to a happy and healthy 2007.

Morning to Everyone:hello:
Hope you are all okay today. Feeling a bit tired as DS (aged 3) is being a bit of a pest. Had me up 4 times last night, and then weed his bed twice, so lots of washing on the go. Don't know if he is out of sorts with his routine i.e. over Christmas, but hoping he is a bit happier soon! Also refusing to eat most of the time, and going through the "NO" stage.
Otherwise, I picked up some bargins in the sales. I found two dresses I loved before Xmas, priced at £28 each, reduced to £5 and £3. One is black and the other white, so thats my "posh" summer dress sorted. Also started to sort out the house yesterday, and got rid of a judo suit, baby bedding etc and haven't even started on my clothes yet. Got to go basic food shopping today, so it will be interesting to see how DS is round the supermarket!
Anyhow, if I do not post again for a bit, hope all OS peeps have a lovely New Years Eve, however you are spending it. I think mine will be at home with a nice cuppa and a pair of earplugs.
LOL...Powie:DA woman is like a tea bag. You never know how strong she is until she gets into hot water.:D0 -
Morning everyone! - persuading myself that I have to be out of bed before 9am if I'm to be allowed on MSE seems to be working...... only problem is I'm still here gone 11, lol.
Lovely to see you back Queenie (((hugs))) to you, and also to your friend.
Dlb - hoping your party goes really well
Bread now out of the BM and DW emptied - but house still like a war zone, but all kids are happy
Emergency dentist for me later to sort out this loose cap on one side and toothache on the other.
Plans for new year - to eat healthier on this budget. Pre Christmas I was doing well and my eczema was clearing and my depression the best it's been in years. I've been eating more junk recently and my eczema is a nightmare and I can't think clearly about my dilema! Nutritious food is far more important than we realise!
Hugs and best wishes to everyone - I might not get to post again on the Daily today, but I do try to pop back and read as many posts as I can (I'm still in a tiz over my finances so spend a lot of time on DFW trying to learn as much as I can)
Love
