July 2013 Brides and Grooms

Hi everyone. Hope all you planning is nearly done and everything is on track. Been super busy with family being here and had a few dramas which I will elaborate on when I next post.

It's strange as I'm no where near as stressed or anxious as I thought I would be but I'm sure that will all change as it still feels a little surreal and hasn't quite sunk in yet

Feathers for bouquet haven't turned up, so trying to find some elsewhere but long feathers on stems in colour green are hard to come by! Mum's being a pain with her outfit. Turns out whenever someone's offered to take her to find something, she's said she's being taken by someone else, to avoid actually going. I can see her not having anything at all and using it as an excuse not to go.

Got a busy weekend of wedding stuff. Going down to southampton where we are getting married. Got a few craft things to do - make table plan. finish frame for guest book, deorate jars and finish kids bags.

Also need to go and buy some sweets which I think OH and his Dad are doing. Busy Busy!

I'm on a day off today, was meant to be doing the table plan but started doing it last night and nearly finished it - went to bed at about 1am after I finally managed to drag myself off the living room floor, where I had everything spread out! Quite pleased with it, will try and upload a pic once it's done if I can figure out how to!

I can't stop looking up the weather forecast, people keep telling me to stop, and it will be whatever it is, but I just can't help it!! I'm worried now that it might be really hot, OH doesn't cope well in heat and have no idea what he'll be like in his morning suit! And there's my hair and make up as well, I'm planning on having curled hair, but I bet it just drops! Eek!

I keep feeling like we still have loads left to do, but when I think about it, I'm not sure if there is. The table plan was my main worry and that's mostly done now.

Here's my list of things left to do:

Finish making table plan (just sticking bits onto the board)
Hair cut and colour on Monday (a bit close to the day, but the only time I could do it!)
Write/print names onto place cards (possibly using stickers?)
Arrange sweets into jars
Make card for post box
Take things to venue (Friday morning)
Email venue with final numbers (need to do today)
Order currency
Start packing for honeymoon

Feels like there's loads more than that to do though!!
