crashed out on my lap when they 'never get on laps, they don't like it'.

Any suggestions how I can encourage Truffles (DS2's choice of name) to do this? She's been around since February and is much less shy now, but still very wary. Sat on OH's lap for a few seconds once, and that was it.

Greenbee - glad yesterday went ok.

Don't know where to start, as lots happened since my last post. OH is in hospital after a bleed in his head. I left the ward at 8pm last night and have found out that they moved him to a different one during the night, but can't find out how he is at the moment. I know they're really busy and can't always answer the phone, but visiting is not until much later.

I had the first lie-in of the hols this morning and since waking up have vegged in bed with a cuppa and the laptop. I was going to properly clean the bathroom, but DS1 isn't feeling too good and I don't want to be in his way when he needs it. At least that's my excuse. Breakfast is next, now that I've caught up with fred. Then laundry, stripping beds and making a decision which room to start with. The bathroom is probably the least complicated, due to absence of much clutter.

I'm trying not to make too many plans at the moment and see how we go. The last time I planned a day (i.e. before 7.50am yesterday) it all went to pieces.

Have a super and hopefully sunny Saturday, everyone.

gillypkk she will be 32 weeks on monday, hopefully things settle down. I suppose she worries because i went very early with my first so i've told her any sign something has started or doesn't feel right, she must go to hospital.

MrsChaos i hope your able to get through soon ((big hugs))

I've managed to get the utility room sorted with floors done and windows washed, i've done the same in the back hall too (it's looking lovely out there now). Plan is cuppa and i'll get the kitchen list finished while hubby watches the match. I might even get the bathroom done too..:D
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Gilly - what you SHOULD do (IMHO) is put each DVD back into its case them move it out of the room - until he learns to put them back.
