Evening all, hope you have had a good day.
Suit that I mentioned the other day for H2B's groom suit arrived today and is perfect so am a very happy cookie :)
Cooked some soup overnight in the slow cooker so that was divvied up into freezer bags before work, just the thankless task of washing the slow cooker now :(
Just been at work today, very droll hehe and nice early 4:30 start tomorrow :( oh well, means I get to finish at 3 and have a nice long evening.

Good luck with that early start jdougl.
I feel so out of the loop, just arrived at my parent's for the weekend and find out about norway and amy winehouse. I hope the families in norway are okay :(
Reverbe, chin up, sounds like you've had a few bad days but it'll pass.

Well i'm home for the weekend, mostly to organise my stuff for when I get the keys to my new place in two weeks time! I'm living with my OH for a couple of months in the mean time so all my plants are here, I feel like my babies have been taken away from me. The tomatoes grown from a random squashed tomato have turned out to be cherry vine and are doing really well!
Me and OH have the world's smallest fridge and ice box (bag of peas, kilo of chicken and it's full!!) so I haven't done any batch cooking in ages, I can't wait to cook a giant batch of soup or something! And get knitting for the winter. Also saw a brill thing in a home mag at work, where scraps of fabric are plaited and turned into cushion covers, rugs etc that I want to try.

Mine and every mother's worst fear x

Im back from my pamper days. They were lovely except I took a turn today before we headed back and it's left me washed out now :( Mooloo had a fabulous birthday which was my purpose so Im happy that she had such a good day:T:T:T Everyone pulled together to look after DGD and Im so very proud of my DD as she was fantastic and will make a wonderful mum one day (if it is her path).

    Tomorrow OS will return.
Hugs to Bemuzzled - you must be so worried x
    Bramble - keep positive x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Flutterby - I am getting quite excited for your house move!

Me too! I can't wait to put pics up on FB, the view is even better than here!
Your life is in your hands, only you can make the changes needed.

    Totally true words these.

Well I'm totally and utterly exhausted! Flatmate is all moved in now to the new flat (penthouse :D). Kinda jealous as i want to start setting up my rooms now! There were 9 of us so we had a chain going down and up all the stairs. I used my minibus to move it all over car park. I'm gonna ache tomorrow though! She bought me an Indian to say thank you for all my help. We ordered from a new place and I had a curry which was vegetable balls in a medium sauce. So yum!

I'm off to crash on sofa with a well deserved beer. Have a good night all

Flutterby - you make me want to move house!! I am considering it next year, if my landlord puts our rent up...

Ohhh i have a grandad update - they think his infection that he has is something to do with his gall bladder so he will need surgery for that but won't know more untill monday - will wait to find out when that is and look to getting up to see him. - i'm reluctant to take any holiday untill i get the results from my checks are work as may need my acrrued holiday pay to keep us afloat if the worst was to happen ( i know, i am thinking positively but i like to be prepared too)
