  • Good evening, hope everyones ok.

Back to work today, Was dreading it to be honest and was awake a lot in the night, wasn't too bad when i got there, kept my head down and kept busy, have a banging head now though and feel shattered.

Remembered late last nigt to do meter readings this week we have used £12.94 on electric and £4.40 on gas, still below the weekly £20 target i've set myself and also still in credit by £50ish.

Today i've spent £4 on kids for special Fireworks lunch on Friday at there school and also spent £15 on petrol, trying to keep out of Mr T, need to buy work tea and biscuits tomorrow so can see it being a spendy day.

£4 recieved from P!nec*ne today, have also done a few surveys even though i feel pants, trying to get to payout on a coule before christmas.

Right better go and do tea and put some washing away.

Hi Penny you are as busy as ever. Sorry to hear you are feeling anxious. I suffer from anxiety when I am under pressure and so many people I talk to do too. So you are not alone and you will get out of it. I find camomile tea very helpful and rest is the best thing for stress.

Your cooking sounds divine:) I am making mince onions carrots and gravy for our tea with some spuds and whoopsied veg from yesterday.

Hope work went ok for you today.

    take care

  • Hi ebayqueen, hope your well.

Work was awful today, but i'm keeping going and trying not to let it get to me.

Went to Tesco Today for work tea/coffee, everyone chips in just me than can be bothered to go and get it, means i get the points though;). Spent £16 on shopping for me, mainly baked beans, crisps and tinned tomatoes, bought some choccies that were half price were supposed to be a pressie but i've opened them:o, just needed chocolate.

Postie hasn't brought me anything exciting:(, but have recieved £3 from mysurv£y and withdrawn £15 from surv£yh£ad but that takes about 4 weeks to hit paypal.

Took DS to get his haircut afterschool so that was another £6.50 spent.

Very lazy tea tonight Jkt spuds and beans.
  • Good morning, didn't get around to posting yesterday but it was another carp day at work.

Managed a NSD:) as i was good and took my lunch into work so esisted the urge to walk into town and pootle around the shops at lunchtime.

Arrived home to a lovely cheque from GTM for £31.71 which will be banked today, also recieved 2 x £13off £65 spends for my local Sainsbury store, i have a feeling the grocery budget may well be blown again this month, will probably throw in a few christmas presents as well as they come out of a different budget.

Managed to earn enough points from justth£answ£r to order a £5 amazon voucher, hope it hurries up as i want to order a book for FIL for xmas and i'm about £3 short in vouchers.

ebay is still being a pain in the bum and won't let me upload photos, so no money making there.

Right better get myself and kids ready for work/school and finish off lunch boxes.

So glad its nearly the weekend.

Sorry that you are feeling anxious but hopefully the st john's wort will help. You are doing really well with the Christmas shopping though-I havent really thought about it and can't do anything until i get paid on the 23rd! The thought of meat and tatty pie is making me feel hungry!

  • HI beckseven and ebayqueen.

Started theday yesterday pretty well, was organised managed to throw together a sausage casserole in the slow cooker before leaving the house, once i got to work it slowly went down hill.

Work is !!!!!!, due to the cut back more and more stuff is being thrown at me to do and its getting to p!ss taking proportions, came home with a banging head which resulted in a migraine and me taking a concoction(sp) of tablets and laying in a hot bath with the lights out, thank goodness for me putting the slow cooker on earlier in the day as at least kids and hubby were fed.

Feel drained this morning and very achy, always do after a migraine, head is niggling slightly so have taken some more tablets and going to have a very lazy morning.

Off to inlaws for lunch as some rellies as oop north from darn sowf:D, so going to give them their christmas pressies which i still need to wrap and write their cards, i know its a bit early but will save a shed load of postage in the long run.

Have managed to get to £25 with spr!ngboard and have withdrawn this into paypal but will take around 4 weeks for it to hit, at least i will have it for xmas.

Hubby at work this afternoon and have promised to take DD xmas shopping to get a few little bits for her friends, then out to a firework display this evening, tomorrow i will have a lazy day.

    Have a good weekend.
  • Hello Pennywise, hope work isnt too bad today. Poor you with the migraine, just what you wanted to start off your weekend... NOT!

    Hi Pennywise

    Hope you're ok x
I need to start on my xmas shopping as well, I have a few ideas and I think I might be pinching one of your ideas from last year by doing a dvd night gift for the kids.

Hope works improved this week for you xxx
  • HI guys, had a nice day on saturday went shopping with DD, managed to get a couple more xmas presents, so getting their slowly. Also had a nice afternoon at inlaws seeing rellies.

Sunday i started with a sore throat which has turned in to a cold, so not 100% at the minute.

Went into work yesterday even though i felt pants, it was ok as i used the excuse of illness to stay away from everyone:).

Nothing new on the moneyfront, hope everyone is well.

Sorry its short and sweet, just don't feel well.
