Surveys are really slow today, hardly any, just typical when i'm at work and have loads to do i get an inbox full of them and yet when i have loads of time to do them i get hardly any, think thats called s*ds law:rotfl:.0 -
:j I am a child free zone:D, well untill 3.30pm when i need to pick DD up from stables, Ds is at his friends for the day and hubby is picking him up on his way home from work.
So i've spent the morning doing houseworky jobs around the house, chopped sticks for the stove and filled up log basket, cleaned out guinea pig hutch and put piggies in their run in the garden as its such as beautiful day, also means they get to munch on free grass;), very mse my G piggies.
Have done a load of surveys, sold an item on ebay for £1.45 (better than nothing), packaged it up ready for the post office.
Going to have a cuppa and a cheese and onion pasty and then tackle the ironing mountain:eek:.0 -
Wow just short of 2 hours tackling the iron mountain:eek:, halfs been put away will put the rest away once i've had a well earned cuppa.

Hope you enjoyed the few free hours you had yesterday.
My YS (aka 6 ft baby:) ) in bed this morning. He feels horrendous. So no school today for him. Will let him sleep as much as he can and hopefully he will be the better for it.

HI mtg, always manage to get loads done with out the kids around, but why is it it takes me hours to get the house spotless and sparkling and the kids are in the house 5 minutes and its trashed again .
Never got chance to post yesterday, OH had a day off so we decided we would have some family time and had a really nice day, went swimming in the morning, and a nice long walk along the seafront in the afternoon it was such a beautiful day, we also had fish and chips as a treat for lunch and they were really yummy:D. We were all exhausted last night, had HM soup for tea and both children in bed and asleep for 7pm:).
Made £9 on ebay yesterday on a BIN and £3 paid into paypal from my$urvey have left it there for the time being.
Today both children have gone to their grandparents for the day, picking them up later on this afternoon and then going to Oh aunties for teas as it OH cousins birthday, for which i have just written out a cheque for £15 couldn't really think what to get a 14 yr old boy.
Nipped into LIDL after dropping children off and spent £26 but i got loads of fruit and veg, some reduced sausage rolls, reduced gammon joint, bottle of wine for tonight and sweets for trick/treaters, then nipped into Tesc* for catfood as its currently BOGOF, a birthday card, pumpkins, yoghurts and also got tub of ice cream that i had a voucher for to get free, ice cream should of been £3.99:eek:, so spent £8.71. Picked up a parcel from sorting office, took library books back and bought some wrapping paper off the market as its only 30p a sheet.
Have not long got home and unpacked everything and i'm now enjoying a toasted teacake and cup of tea:D.

Hi m2mg, yes we had a great day thankyou.
Busy busy weekend,Saturday was spent doing housy things and trying to get everything ready for going back to school today and yesterday we visited my Nan and great aunty and poped into MIL and FIL, tried to list some things on ebay and once againit wouldn't let me upload any photos:mad:, made a yummy tea of rst gammon, rst pots peas and swede/carrot mash.
Today is PAYDAY, so have a couple of bills to pay, going to drop children at school then go into town and get some christmas shopping (i'm not back at work until tomorrow:D), have reserved MIL/FIL present at Arg*s went through quidc* for cashback, its over £50 so will get £10 gift voucher back:), i'm going to use this to buy some earrings for DD that she has requested on her christmas list:D.
Will go to Boot$ to use no7 voucher, i'm thinking new eyeshadow as my current one has gone crumbly, will check machine for vouchers see if they have any good offers, will go to £ shop see if they have anythng for xmas stocking fillers and some halloween bits.
Tea tonight is meat and tatty pie, need to get some cooking fat to make pastry, also have some stock left from gammon (cooked in slow cooker first and finished it off by rsting in oven with honey on) so will use that to make some soup, will try and put a crumble together as well.
Hope everyone has a good Halloweeeeeeeeeen.0 -
Had a good morning and managed to get a couple of xmas presents, Managed to get free parking as decided to park in S*insburys carpark ing the middle of town as its the cheapest and also get money back if you buy items instore, anyway they were updating al the car parking machines so parking was free all day today:D, picked up items from Argos £57 spent but got 2 x £5 gift vouchers back., then nipped into £ shop and spent £8 on halloween bits and some birthday cards, used my No7 voucher in Boots and bought a new eyeshadow and some bubble bath as the machine gave me a voucher for 1/3 off bubble bath so total spend in boots was £3.66.
Decided to go into Holl&nd and B&rrett to see about something herbal to try and lift my mood , been feeling down and anxious recently, anyway a really nice lady was very helpful and i bought some St Johns Wort, hopefully this will perk me up a bit £7.75 spent.
Went to Tesco on the way home, just really a top up shop trying to use as much stuff as possible that we already have in, spent £20.75 which is really good for me as one payday i usual do a huge shp whether i need to or not, habit really.
