Hi guys thankyou for your get well wishes.
Today has been the first day that i have felt well as such, still feel really tired, but at least the cold and soree throat and achyness has gone, must be feeling better as i've opened a bottle of wine, not had a drop all week as just didn't feel like it.
Really struggled on the money making this week, havn't been doing many surveys as i have not had the energy to sit at the computer, so feel a bit fed up as i've had loads of surveys and just not done them:(.
Clubcard vouchers are through so £9 to spend, might save them for January grocery budget as thats always a tight month.
Have had some freebies this week through the post some christmas cards, wrapping paper and gift tags from a charity i used to regularly donate to.
Had parents evening last night, overall children are doing well, but according to DS teacher my son has TOO much confidence and is becoming cocky ( her words) and that yes he is extremely bright but needs to give the other children a chance, !!!!!!!
She's new, tried to talk me down until she found out i worked in a school;).
Right better go and serve tea up to the famished.0 -
Ohhh WELL DONE DS:j:j in other words so bright he needs her attention and that is a bother to her, grrr. Glad you stood up to her Penny, i always come out wishing i'd been tougher with them.

OMG Pennywise I cannot believe her teacher said that!!! Im sure its better to be a bit more confident that not!! I wasnt too pleased with DD's teacher when we went to parents evening either! I felt like she pulled on all the negatives and not so much on the positives.
Glad your feeling a bit better xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hi Pennywise
Glad you're starting to feel a bit brighter and good on you for putting the teacher in their place xxx0 -
Good afternoon.
Busy busy week at work and finding that i've got very little time.
DS is ill today so is off school, which means i have had to take the day off work, he has brightened up as the day as gone on and wants to go to school tomorrow as they are doing lots of fun things for children in need, but we will see.
Did meter readings earlier on in the week and still under the target of £20 a week for both gas and electric, gas was £5.29 and elec £12.61, woodburner has been lit all week which stops the CH coming on, i'm keeping the thermerstat (sp) set at 17'c so if the temp in the house falls below it will switch the CH on.
Money is tight this month but i have bought quite a few christmas presents and just really stocking fillers to buy now for the children, need to get OH something which will probably be fishing related.
Recieved £3 from mysurv£y this week and have finally after what seems to have been a loooooooooooong slog got to 50 points with yougov and withdrawn £50 from them:D.
Have ordered a free cereal bowl from kelloggs for ds, saved up the codes off the cereal boxes.
Think that is it for me at the minute, out tomorrow night with a friend, just going for a pizza and couple of drinks will be nice to get out without children.
Right off for a cuppa and to check surveys.0 -
Well done Penny, think i have virtually given up on yougov, just seems to take soooo long!
Well done on the Christmas shopping too, tip today at work was Tesco are doing buy 1 get 2 free on selection boxes, so i may start tonight. Mind you will have to buy loads as they won't last till Santa comes!!Weight: need to lose 71lbs - lost to date 0lbs
