I am going to go out on a whim here. I want to leave home so I can live full time, I applied for housing help because yeah things at home with my family are rocky ,they are against me transitioning because they do not want me to throw my life away. according to them that is what I am doing by living as a woman
I applied for housing, not got many points. Mean time I got an interview for college so I can try and turn my life around because I admit I am not perfect in any way.
So If I get accepted in to college I can go there full time as a woman and hopefully end up on hormones by the time I get my appointment through.
I do not think I can count on getting housing ,I could rent a place but so many with no dss, then the ones that you can get are like £500 or £600 a month.
Really I decided now to focus on my career and turn my life around so I can support myself ,repay the money I owe and get treatment so I can spend the rest of my life a woman.
I could die from just taking the hormones alone but I do not really care about dying.
If all goes well next month I can go and get treatment and in 3 or more months time I may be on hormones "Yay".
My family and I don't see eye to eye but who knows in time things could be different.
I could argue the points I have with the council but really Its better If I stay and try and get in to college then 1 year on I could go to uni ,stay at uni ,be myself full time there.
I wish I had all the answers but I don't. I lived a sheltered life and I am not proud of that.:A0 -

But you have all the answers, as in a human right act that dosnt apply to us but maybe you think you have more rights than everyone else as you believed on that other thread and were trying to persuade others that they also had these none existant rights.
Look up the correct human rights legislation and as a clue the 1948 one isnt it0 -

Maybe because it says you can as long as its not a diploma level or above.
I took my gcses at college and gcse in art and was allowed to claim still but if you go to uni or a diploma level:A0 -

Unless you're a disabled or a lone parent, full time students are ineligible to claim benefits, whatever level course they're on.0
