Hmm, clearly you have a problem with self esteem - but to answer your question..yes, I would share with 'a person like you' (ie a transsexual) assuming they are honest, clean and thoughtful. I wouldn't share with someone who endlessly complains and puts themselves down. Or borrows my underwear/shoes/lippy!
Guess your right. I just worry how people will react.:A0 -

He's a right moaning miny with a victim complex, I would want to live next door to him never mind with him and it has nothing to do with being a transgender person.0 -

I think a lot of people would choose a transexual neighbour rather than a bunch of chavs.
Meanwhile, Im assuming you arent the only transexual in the village - so there must be some contacts/advisory groups in that area who could possibly help with this housing problem surely?0 -

I am not sure. been to shelter who advised me that I am technically homeless because being at home prevents me from getting treatment
the council begged to differ and put me on the housing list with 20 points and I am not sure if that is low or high or what.
Bid on a place or two in Ashford. There are some ideal places in shepway but iv been told I can only bid on Ashford places and at the moment there are only a couple but something will show up.:A0 -

So firstly you need some sort of support - ask your local CAB for assistance in finding a support for homless people and indeed for transexual people. You may find that with a support adviser you could up your priority through such things as medical needs/fear of violence.
Secondly, if you dont know what 20 points means (round here its done by banding rather than points) then ASK!
When you bid you can normally see what place you are in the queue for that particularly property?0 -
