Good Evening All - Hope we are all Well

OH defrosted both freezers, cleaned them and re-arranged the food, plenty of HM meals allready frozen, to last at least 2weeks.
Not much shopping left to get now.

Still trailing thru the washing, All Xmas Decs are now down & put away.

Hope the lights are ok for you DLB and thanks for the cards.

Just about to have fish fingers/cakes,oven chips & peas for dinner, using up the last bits from the convenience food.

Then after dinner, we will play on the Play Station 2, that BUZZ game, my babysitter has lent it to us for a while.

Take care for now, have a lovely evening, love as usual xxx

    P.S Welcome Tink

I'll be alone New Years Eve aswell, I will get a call from DP around midnight ish but that's probably the only adult I will speak to all evening. Me and the boys will probably watcha DVD and will make some popcorn (which I can do now :) ) then I try to get them to bed before the noise starts. Used to it now, many years since I went out New Year, partners busiest night of the year and impossible to get babysitter normally never mind then so we gave up.
One day I might be more organised...........

    Evening :hello:

    welcome tink1981!

It's been peeing it down here since about 2:30, just as I got on the bus home from town. There are BIG advantages to living directly opposite the bus stop :D

    I've had a highly productive day :T

Besides the stuff I knew I needed today, I bought a wire cutlery tray (Poundstretcher, £2.50) and Gary Rhodes's Keeping It Simple book (WH Smith, 75% off, £6.25).

And a Lidl c0cktail-shaker (the metal one, £4.99 reduced from £6.99) - which I figured was near-essential in case Nelski ever comes to stay :D

After coming home I built a flatpack bookcase and am going to do another shelving unit this evening. I need to build another bookcase to match the one I've already done today, but I can't face hammering in another 46 nails  and would rather spare my neighbours the experience until daylight hours tomorrow too (the one I'll do in a moment fits together with bolts and an Allen key). Also, the space it needs to go in is currently being used as a general dumping area for stuff that hasn't been unpacked properly since I moved in - stuff which I should be able to clear up this evening now I've built a total of 4 shelving units and am about to build the 5th :T

Tomorrow am planning to hit the sales after church, I don't really agree with Sunday shopping but in my case I feel it's the lesser of two evils - my church is off Oxford Street which means I may as well get any shopping done while I'm there, rather than struggle up there through the bargain-hungry mob at another time of the week! I actually discussed this with the priests from my church a couple of weeks ago, and they agreed with me :D

lil_me, I don't really "do" New Year's Eve, and prefer to spend it home alone with some nice music on rather than being out on the razz and being unable to get a cab home (although it's just occurred to me that I COULD go to the Thames fireworks, and walk home in 45 minutes! Hmmmm...)

    Have a nice evening everybody

    Love Rzl xx

Yes I think it's homemade popcorn (in the pan as not got a maker thingamy) and a DVD. I bought mine from Tescos, ASDA do it aswell that I know of. We just had it plain last time, my son loves it so much he wasn't bothered. Have some syrup and butter so might try that :) sounds lovely cat.

DP is a taxi driver and he'll be dashing about taking the drunk people home as usual. I would never have a problem getting home (perks of his job) but I haven't drank for over a year because I just haven't fancied it and don't think I could be bothered with lots of drunk people and queuing for an Orange Juice when I have a fridge full. Hopefully make enough tomorrow as the weekend so far has been very quiet and the rest of January is usually very quiet and thats when we tend to struggle.

    Hiya everyone,

It's a stinker here today. I have a bit to do at the house this morning before DGS comes this arv. We are having him for the night. We were'nt planning on going out anyway for NYE. There is probably something on at the Bowls Club (without the green) on the island. :D Got home last night and did my ironing & a few bits and pieces. Also did some more work on my *UK* folder & printed out some 2 for 1 vouchers connected to the major attractions. ;)

    Welcome Tink

Hope you all get a good nights sleep. Byeeeeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)
