    Hello everybody,

My hands are so achy I can hardly type. The good news is that we have 3 walls & the floor tiles glued on. One wall to go. Plus if anybody wants a loofah massage my hands would work perfectly. :D Home now for tea. DD cooked it. It's spag bolg. As we came around the corner we could smell the garlic. I think she put too much in but I don't care, I'm hungry & I don't have to cook.

I have yet to fold the mountain of clothes that I washed this morning. Then back off to the house to do more work tonight. Might chill out with a red wine later in the night and browse on here so will catch you all later.

(((((hugs))))))) to the sickies. Think I might make an appt with the dr next week to get a flu shot before I come over. :D Byeeeeeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

    Morning everybody. :hello:

Why is it when we're on all on holiday and I have the chance to lie in that I have no problem getting up in the morning?

Ds1 is off to play an away rugby match this morning so he's just left and I’m having a few quiet moments with a cup of coffee before everyone else is awake. Dd is working later so just me, Dh and the little one at home today. I think we might take our lives in our hands and hit the sales. We've been promising ourselves new sofas for a while now so on the look out for those.

I need to do a quick tidy up and run round with the vacuum later as we have a few friends coming round for a drink tonight……..I might go and have a look in the freezer as I'm sure there's a lasagne and garlic bread in there somewhere which will be good for supper if we get the munchies. That should save us all the price of a takeaway.

I hope everyone who's poorly will start to feel better soon!

Have a good day everyone. :)

    Morning everyone :)

I am sorry so many people are ill.

Dlb - your party sounds fab.

Apple_mint, I think I am going to take some inspiration from you financial planning. There are some great ideas there.

Oh and DD are still asleep after a bit of a rough night with DD. Ds and I never did make it to the cinema yesterday but are definitely going today. Going to go to the cinema that is slightly further away but doesn't have a shopping centre attatched to it so I don't get tempted to go in and buy anything :o .

Dinner tonight is hm fish and chips with a naughty beer batter for the fish. Washing and ironing needs to be done other than that after the cinema I think i might have a play of the deal or no deal board game with Ds that my mum gave me.

Have a good day everyone, to everyone who is poorly make sure you have a rest and look after yourself.

just back from asda....the place was empty. the checkout girls were sitting chatting. last saturday it was mayhem! got nice roast beef for tomorrow (half price) was bigger than the brisket I usually buy at the same price and yet it's silverside. having traditional steak pie on new years day.

will probably spend today cleaning as daughter has just got up and threw up in my kitchen sink :( So its full of bleach at the moment ;) theres lots to do - washing, ironing, changing beds and just general cleaning.
had planned a day at the sales...but I suppose I would only spend money :)

    Good morning everyone,

Also joining the insomniacs, had a headache since yesterday and i cant get it to shift - why is it we all feel ill when we are on holiday!!!!
Never mind, the good thing is that we dont have to go anywhere or do anything today, although the weather looks a lot better than it did yesterday!!!!
I think i may also take the christmas decs down today, i love christmas so much, but ive had enough now, and it will be nice not to do it on new years day.
Nothing much else planned, although loads of cleaning if i do take the decs down!!!
(((HUGS))) to all those who are still poorly, hope you feel better soon,
    Have a great day,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
  • Morning All

(((hugs))) to those under the weather, Im fine at the mom but am just so tired dont know why - think I slept all night.

So after surfing on here for 10 mins will make myself a extra strong coffee to get myself going. So far DD dropped off at stables, picked up paper and some dougnuts from bakers (couldnt resist). DW emptied, WM loaded and kitchen and utility room cleaned. Probably will be 5 washing loads in total today and hope to have ironing up straight by tonight. Fingers crossed something good is on telly.

Need to menu plan for next week and work out what kids need/want for packed lunch so can do a online tesco shop, they sent me a £10 off code as they subsituted some items on my Xmas order.

Changed plans for dinner tonight - will be chicken j pots and salad. Not sure what we are doing tom night, I am happy staying in - if you watched grumpy old men/women last night well that is me - I hate New Years Eve.

Anyway best get on - have a great day.

Morning all. Hope you've all had a relaxing and enjoyable Christmas holiday.

Mr Frizz off playing golf today, so I am having a dossie day in my dressing gown.:o Did think it would be cancelled after the storms last night - it was like Wizard of Oz!! But this morning clear blue skies and sunshine. :D

Have been pretty manic this Christmas, lots of rellies over and a big family party on Boxing Day. Managed to hit the sales on Wednesday and grabbed a few bargains. :j

Yesterday we all went to the cinema to see Night at the Museum - it was hilarious - can thoroughly recommend it - haven't laughed so much in ages. Was meant to go to a friends for drinks last night, but they called to say that their youngest had been sick, and so we didn't bother. :( The sickness bug seems to be doing the rounds big time at the mo. We are off to Centerparcs in a few days time, so last thing we want to be getting.

Hope you all have a great day.
