    Morning everyone

Hugs to all who would like one and commiserations to those in the sick club today, you have my sympathy.

I am happy, happy, happy! I have 3 whole days off work and not too much rushing around to do. The flat needs a quick clean, the washing and ironing have to be done and I want to have a baking session but that’s about it. :D

So, if the weather holds I’ll take advantage and have a nice long walk or 3 and just enjoy having some free time.

Oooh! I love it when I have a weekend like this stretching out before me; I can make loads of plans for stuff I’ll do, but only if I feel like it. So I’ll probably do none. Must go to B&Q though as I really need <to replace> a screw.

I hope you all have a lovely day
My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead :D

Well I'm spending my day wading through water as my boiler just burst! Good old dad is on is way over to help.

Just a quick note to all the poolie people - firstly hugs and love to get better! Secondly, as a teacher I am always poolie, especially during school holidays! However, wonder cure is echinacea drops!!! It's a herbal remedy you can get in most health shops and you add it to water and it wards off all cold, flu and respiratory symptoms! Give it a whirl.
Wandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...

    Morning all :hello:

Still feeling under the weather. Sore throat is mild today, but nose is blocked and running (how does it do both ? )
Still feel a bit wholly headed and yuck :(
Need to go to pharmacy and get some cough mixture as I have a tickly cough as well

Ah well, not much planned this weekend, so I can take it easy.
I need to organise a card making lesson for my friends' kids for next weekend - they are staying with us for 24 hours before emigrating to Oz. I thought it might be a good distraction for a few hours for them. Now I need to choose what suject for the cards...

Have a great day everyone xxx

Well good morning everyone :) Hope everyone is well and those who are not feel better soon, thankfully I think I am getting over the bug I caught on here (well it seems that way as everyone else is poorly too) and have been a bit more energetic this morning.

I have a mountain to do, dogs not making it easier as they are running in and out of the garden all the time and bringing half of it in with them on their feet! Thank god for hard floors.

Oldest dog suddenly after 2 years thought he was allowed on the sofa, and jumped on it after being in the garden, I am so pleased CREAM leather wipes clean but wish I didn't have to do it!

Washing pile is huge as I just can't get it dry. Might have to use the dryer as I can't handle this amount of drying indoors, got a pile even Red Rum would struggle to jump!

Started to take the decorations down last night and will hopefully finish that today/tomorrow. Need DP to take the really high ones down and he's naffed off out with his RC cars! Children are playing with their Christmas present mainly and have been good and playing nicely so not having to referee too much.

Hope everyone has a good day :)

Hope everyone has a good day.
One day I might be more organised...........

  • Hello everyone,

This is my first time at doing one of these, so hope you don't mind me tagging along.

It's been really great reading what you all get up to, I'm feeling very inspired. :p I'm house sitting for my parents at the moment (great way to save on my elecy bills!) and it's been nice to know what the rest of the world is up to as I'm on mi tod in the middle of know where!!

I've had a morning reading through lots of the forums getting some great ideas. So far I've joined the Grosary Challenge and managed to aquire a slow cooker through freecycle :rotfl: Really need to sit down and do my SOA and budget but think they're going to have to wait until I get home after new year. For now think I'm going to stick to browsing the web for slow cooker recipies :j and perhaps take the dog out for a walk when the rain stops and the howling gale calms down!!

Anyway take care everyone and I hope those of you who are feeling ill get better son :)

    tink
