Tappers, I've only just seen your posts, as I only just now got as far as reading the Daily....:o
I also got given plums..... I cut them in half, leaving the skin on, removed the stones, arranged them in a round enamel pie dish with a sprinkling of sugar over, I then made a topping of 8 oz porridge oats, 2 oz sugar, a smidge of cinnamon and enough margarine to make it bind together. I covered the raw plum halves with this mix, and baked at 180 C for 45 minutes.
It's delish! We just had some for pud. HTH.:o

Evening all, DD sent me a photo of DGS Jack all spruced up for his first 'prom' and he looks gorgeous bless him I don't know where the time flies to it doesn't seem that long since he was toddling around in his babygro's.
DGS Mikey's church leaving service for the infants who are moving up to the juniors this September was lovely .I sat looking at all the little ones and can't believe how soon they shoot up and end up taller than me of my seven grandchildren I am now only taller than three of them and I'm 5ft 4in
I treated the boys to some new honeycomb chocolate biscuits that they were lusting after this afternoon so a little 75p spend was well worth it to see them munching away with big chocolatly grins.Tomorrow I break up from my history class in the afternoon then I have to get my eyes tested as its due,fingers crossed I don't need new ones as I promised to pay for DDs dentist appointment next week.
