Hello again
Got sister's cat home safely, DGS didn't come after all (poorly so at home with someone else), done 2 loads of washing (1st dry - hallelujah!), done big pile of ironing, called in at supermarket for milk, bananas & a few other bits, kids now out in the garden so I'm having a tea break for 10 mins!
Got reduced pork steak for DH & littlies for tea, something veggie for me as I don't like pork, plus whatever veg is lurking at the bottom of the fridge. Have started my list of things I want to cross stitch or make for Christmas (shh!), so need to fnish that before the end of the week, so I can go through my stash to see how little I can get away with buying.
Keep having to break off typing to sort out DD - she keeps digging (by hand) through my tubs, scattering soil everywhere (the stuff in them has now died of course!), trying to escape from the garden, trying to pick & eat the first 2 apples I've ever grown....golly, she's hard work sometimes!
Happy birthday Shalva - hope you're having a good day! xo

Just popping in to cheer myself up - have just had undeserved stick on a webpage from the lead singer of the band I used to follow everywhere for over 20 yrs and am rather cut up about it.. I know the folks here always manage to lift my spirits even if not to me directly so just wanted to say thanks all . keep posting and showing that there is great things on the net too.xxxxxx
Oh and Happy Birthday to Shalva!!!What Would Bill Buchanan Do?0 -
Happy birthday to Shalva and JC's twins! Hope everyone else is having a good day and hugs to those in need.
I'm just popping on in my break at work for a mooch around the board, I must remember to do it more often as it really brightens up the afternoon.
I'm getting back into my O/S MSE swing... I've gone absolutely mad for Get Set Go Free vouchers as they come with products I already buy and I've realised me and OH can go horse riding and white water rafting on our holiday in wales just using vouchers from this month's coffee and shredded wheat. AND those are both on offer at Mr S atm.
Oh, and I now only eat organic fresh baked waitrose bread... because it's always reduced to 24p at night :rotfl: I'm on a bit of a special offer high at the minute!
Reverbe, pfft ignore them! Obviously getting too big for their boots if they can't appreciate a dedicated fan. Now, where did you get that £1 bed spread?Living cheap in central London :rotfl:0 -
Cheers ade.. like I said I got it from a local charity shop. thanks for the kind words btw.. I was told in no uncertain terms I couldnt have attended every gig which i did) that I didnt have a song dedicated to me, which I did.. and that the hundreds of pics I have of singer in a coloured shirt must be wrong cos he never had one that colour?? !!!!!!|?? guess his drugaddled mind must have been better than my stone cold sober and sober at the time one lolWhat Would Bill Buchanan Do?0

Don't leave me out I want to know too:p
Made a big pan of Chilli and cleaned the house from top to bottom, also all the washing is done and put away. I love days like this when I feel I can overcome anything.
Best of all I have stayed wheat free now for 3 days and my tummy feels great, even managed to resist the leftover birthday cake that has been calling my name all day:D
That reminds me Happy Birthday Shalva
Well hubby should be home soon, maybe just time to squeeze in a little nap:o:T
Taplady I would stone them and stew in a little water and sugar to taste. But then I am not an expert!Started Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.
