i have a man friend who usually gives me this kinda advice but his nets been down for some time and i ran out of free text!
I wouldn't leave a nice girl waiting. If i like someone then i tell them. I'm too old to be playing games. In this day and age of texts, email etc then there is no excuse not to get in touch.0 -
postingalwaysposting wrote:hi will... really it was just a general question to see what people do/dont do to resist temptation with reagrds to money/food/wine/smokes etc etc... just getting different people thinking really

as regards to my situation... i am just strict on myself... thats about it... yes i do get tempted by things... many things actually... i just keep reminding myself of my little pot of money growing... but that doesnt stop me completely spending
i give in sometimes... its just getting that balance right
each to their own PAP but i think u don't allow yourself enough temptation but i understand that this is your choice to make and i am sure that other people believe i give in to to much temptation and between us there is a happy medium

PAP, thanks for the 400th thanks
i have to say i was surprised when i read in one of the threads that ur aim for 2007 was to control your spending for 2007 as it seems u hardly spend on anything anyway (bar your mum but thats differant).
Enjoy yourself and try not to let money rule your life
, i still wanna know roughly where u live btw
Will
ps Why not take £100 and spend it on you, indulge urself in something that u want without thinking it might be to much, treat urself!SShhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh0 -

Sorry
Whose to say how the guy you like thinks? Perhaps he's shy? Maybe he wants to contact you but is nervous? In answer to your earlier question, If a girl liked me and got in touch with me i wouldn't think she was a scary stalker. I'd think it was sweet even if i wasn't interested.0 -

LOL PAP, why not just take 100 and spend it all!!!!!!, take that 200 and flog the life out of it, treat yourself!!!!!!
No you didn't tell me where u lived last time i asked for some strange reason, it was as if u thought i was a stalker or something
lol
Tbh i would rather be like u than out of control but i wish you would look after yourself and treat yourself, money is only there once and then its gone and its not like ur going to spend it all and waste it all...every now and again treat yourself!

Lyns I'm sorry to hear this might turn out to be another frog instead of the prince we were hoping for. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he's just shy and is plucking up the courage to text you.
As for temptation, I gave in to the shoes and food categories today with a gorgeous new pair of boots and a shared tub of posh strawberry cheesecake ice cream. I have no shame.Debt at highest May 2006: £27,472.24
