i definitely think that you should celebrate not increasing your debts, that's called living within your means and is a major achievement. Thats on my post LBM events that i still remember - the first month that i lived within my means.

of course you should be proud for not killing the fish, that's quite a long time for fish to go i think they're notorious for popping their clogs a lot.
well done for doing some decluttering, i've got some to do as always but just don't know where to start as i've got to try and keep our place tidy in case of viewings and knowing my luck i'd have someone turn up during one of the 'make everything worse before it gets better' stage

Ha ha, I know exactly what you mean! Some people just move things to the right place when they tidy, I go by the 'empty everything into a huge pile and then deal with it' method. Problem is it's always bedtime before I finish!

So glad the fish are keeping their end of the deal (we talked, I feed them, they keep swimming) as I really think I'd be waiting for some cannibalistic behaviour before I fished a floater out, I'm such a wuss! I don't think I could phone my father in law for that (although he is the contigency plan should Rhubarb the rabbit go :()

Can't wait for this contract down south to end, want the hubby back but as some muppet has got himself 'resigning' today it looks like he'll be there for longer. Bossman has offered T 5 mins in a locked room with this idiot, I asked if I could come hold him down since he's ruined any chance of him getting home before the weekend! He might be joking but I'm not sure I am! :rotfl:

i often have conversations like that with things or plants, they soon find out that they have two choices... my way or the highway... lol

Another person fighting the tide of overwhelming 'things'? If you read the book/have seen the latest Harry Potter film, remember the security system at Gringotts? I think we have the same at my house, and I don't mean dragons. :D

I have never seen fish in clogs, but yes they do seem to pop them rather too easily especially if you are looking after them for someone else. So well done. :)

No repayments made... but nothing added to what's owed, either. Surely you should have a pat on the back for that? It shows you're in control.

And I love the pensioners story! I hope I shall be like that when I get there.

Not seen HP yet as hard to get out with OH working but I know what you mean as have read the book several times (yes, I know I'm probably too old but I LOVE them!). Every piece of lego I touch in this house seem to multiply into 20 foot-stabbing pieces.

Oddly I am proud of being in control, when I did my credit check I discovered I had a cc still 'live' with nothing on it, old me would have revived that by now! New me is going to phone them up and close it.

The pensioners made my day, I wanted to stop the car and play but I've not earnt my time yet!
