Options
If you do not wish your data to be used by these third party providers you can refuse to sign the consent form at your initial appointment, withouth being sanctioned. This website will give you more information: www.workprogramme.org.uk

I can see from that link that they are not allowed to give out your info under the data protection act.

So once they give you a letter saying the provider is so and so and they will be in touch they have already done that!

From my experience with complaining at the DWP/JCP you get no where and I couldn't see anyone on that link who has had a reply.

True , but the question is this can the JCP give out all your personal info to a company without your consent?

is it not in the agreement about passing on of details, other than that i wouldnt have thought they could,

so your details are passed to them rather than the call made whilst your at the job centre

while at the jobcentre the adviser went through all info they had on me to check that there wasnt anything personal that i didnt want them to pass on. i wasnt given a choice about whether the rest was passed on and i didnt sign any consent form.
