what even a year or two in?

Who is going to give them this info? I think you are a bit paraniod. I know of no company that would ever talk to a 3rd party when they have nothing at all to do with the job!

And i think you are a bit naive.

most people usually tell them when they get the job. some people will have got the job through the work programme. even if you dont tell them it is possible the jobcentre would tell them. anyway when you get refered back they would help you modify your cv to show the recent job and they will find out who you worked for then. they could easily phone them up and ask what you were like.

you dont have to tell the job centre either and why would you get refered back?

well i dont know. some seem to think they could get the info from dwp. you would get refered back because from the date you start they have got you for all periods of time during the next 2 years that you are signing on. the job would have to last until the end of the 2 years for you to not get refered straight back when you signed on again.

it doesnt matter how good you are if they dont need you then you will lose your job. you would need to be perfect to feel 100% sure nothing the employer tells the provider can be twisted to make you look bad.

yes but before the redundancy happens the provider may call them to ask how you are performing. all you need is for them to say they have had a bit of time off lately. when you go back to the provider you could then get them twisting that info and saying you were a bad time keeper even though you werent.

If you become unemployed during your 2 years with work programme you would make a claim to JSA as you do now and the job centre would decide if a sanction is appropriate if they consider you have left voluntarily or through misconduct.
This is exactly the same process as happens now. You would then be seen by work programme adviser for the rest of your 2 year period for job search activities.
It is unlikely work programme would contact an employer but they may keep in contact with some people after they have started work - particularly those who have been out of work a long time or have disabilities as they may need more support to remain in work.
Work programme get paid increasing amounts for each week or month you are in work as they are supposed to be helping you find sustainable employment so it is in their interest to offer support to keep you in work.
They don't need to contact your employer as if you sign off and are not receiving benefit it will be assumed you are in employment.
