the job will only end if you are sackeddonnajunkie wrote: »that was just an extreme example to show my logic. you could however not be perfect in a job. the last thing you would want is a bad adviser finding this out and refering you for a sanction saying you had a bad attitude because they think you didnt try hard enough. obviously it wont happen while still in the job but if the job ends it MAYBE something that could happen.0 -

so what if the role was made redundant? They can't be peeved then can they if that's not your fault. I was in a job once 3 mths and they made me redundant & if I had known the state the company was in before I took the job I would have never accpeted it.0 -

if you are made redundant they shouldnt take any action against you and the majority wont. however if they are unscrupulous they may say they must have made you redundant because you werent performing well enough. they would then bring up the info given to them about you struggling with a certain part of the job. honestly a bad adviser would twist things to make you like bad because it suits their agenda.so what if the role was made redundant? what even a year or two in?
Who is going to give them this info? I think you are a bit paraniod. I know of no company that would ever talk to a 3rd party when they have nothing at all to do with the job!0 -
but you are talking as if everyone is going to be sackeddonnajunkie wrote: »jobs end when they dont need you anymore. this could happen at anytime. sacked is only the right word to use if you lose the job due to bad behaviour or poor performance.0 -
the work programme lasts for 2 years. if you get a job during that period they can contact you and your employer. if the job ends within the 2 years then you go straight back to the work programme. paranoid? well yeah a bit but thats because i have known an adviser who would twist things against people. i agree that decent companies would tell providers to get lost. alot wouldnt though.what even a year or two in?

how would they know who you are working for?0 -

most people usually tell them when they get the job. some people will have got the job through the work programme. even if you dont tell them it is possible the jobcentre would tell them. anyway when you get refered back they would help you modify your cv to show the recent job and they will find out who you worked for then. they could easily phone them up and ask what you were like.how would they know who you are working for?0
