I bet she fell for you because you are so modest hey!!!!
I am merely repeating what she said, the way I remember it. :D

My hair is extremely short, infact shaved on a number 4 all over and shaved into my neck. I prefer it this way and have done for a couple years as when my hair grows long it's extremely curly and wild, got fed up with straighteners, anti friz treatments generally filling my hair with chemicals and then putting hot treatments on it, so it all came off. Think funky and punky and you won't go far wrong imagining what my hair looks like, pretty much like this

But obviously a little shorter, I love it, my hubby loves it and I think that's all that matters, couldn't give a stuff what others think as I am me and a haircut certainly don't change who I am.:)

Bear in mind, some of us cannot avoid it! Following chemo, I was completely bald. Now have the much hated pixie cut, stainless steel grey and curly:mad:
I know this is a light hearted thread, so not taking it too seriously, but going from long blonde hair to very short and grey is quite enough thank you without feeling sexless too:p

Sorry you feel like that :)

I think there are some stunning silver, short haired women, Judi Dench being one and Jamie Lee Curtis another. I couldn't imagine either looking as attractive with longer hair.

When I was younger my mum had a short crop and was forever dying it, brown, blonde, red. It's what I'd look for if I lost her in the supermarket :o

Some people do suit it, Victoria Beckham being one, but I think you have to have the right face shape. I'd never suit it.

I've worn my hair long, close cropped, and all lengths in between. Currently, it's half way down my back. A ringo Starr -style white stripe appeared in the front of my hair when I was 13 years old. It now covers 80% of my hair.

Due to allergies I can't colour my hair, so the style is about all I can change. It's worn up most of the time, using wooden chopsticks or bone hairpins to hold it in place. What I like best about this style is that my Mum hates it, calling it my crazy old woman hair. I correct her; I'm 40, so it's my crazy middle-age woman hair.:D

I would never cut mine. Its down to my bottom. Short hair suits some women only

Come back and say that when you're my age! ;).

    I've been Money Tipped!
I don't plan ever to cut my hair again. Mine is long, for me its easier to control when long. I've known many older women with long hair who ''put it up'' properly when they are older, and that's what I plan to do. :)

My dh loves my hair and every now and then washes it for me. (we only have a bath with no shower attachment so this is very helpful as well as being just lovely :))

I still doubt long tresses are flattering once your face starts to resemble a crazy paving mosaic :rotfl:. I'm thinking maybe looking like one of the three witches in Macbeth!

I've heard it called the 16/61 syndrome. A woman looks 16 from the back, but when she turns around........

I've always thought as a general rule those with small features suit short hair (think nat portman)and those with larger features (such as anne hatherway) suit long hair.

personally, I'm too worried I'd resemble my brother if I cut it all off!
