I've been Money Tipped! Chutzpah Haggler
Plenty of time for a clean and immaculate house when the kids have grown up and left home, until then I can live with dirty pots, kids stuff all over and dead flies on the window ledge!

There is nothing about cleaning that makes me feel 'proud'. People still come over and eat, drink and stay the night so it can't be that off-putting for others, whereas I hate going to people's houses where the air is full of chemicals and I'm scared to do anything for fear of ruining their show-home cleanliness.

OP and others - have you actually been diagnosed with OCD? I'm assuming not as you seem proud of your routine, in which case I would ask whether you will look back on your life and be glad that you spent so much time cleaning rather than any of the millions of other things you could spend your time on?

Well its been enlightening seeing everyone's different views on cleaning and glad I'm not only person who doesn't know what the different nozzles on the hoover mean ;)!!

My house really is a mess.......

....so I need to go lie in the bath where I can't see the mess :D

    Plenty of time tomorrow....;)
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.

haha no I havent been diagnosed with OCD so sorry if I upset anyone with that.

As I'm sure you read in my other post, its all done before 7:45am which, yes, I'm sure there are a million other things I could do at that time (doing the deed ) but I'd rather get the house cleaned ready for the day:D

My offer still stands folks - tea and a few custard creams. I have my own transport and cleaning products:D

Hahaha...love Pigpen's cat in the fridge!

We've just laid laminate flooring to replace my 12yr old lino and OH had to pull all of the front panels away from the bottom of the kitchen units as well as moving the washing machine and cooker.

How on earth do crumbs get beneath the washing machine? It's not like anyone eats down there! Luckily, even he realised that no-one moves their washing machine out to clean behind there (do they?) so I got away with that one.

The cooker though, was a different matter. I just used my bad back as an excuse for not cleaning underneath it! :rotfl::rotfl:

anytime vroom - you are most welcome.

Mines not too bad, its lived in, for example today I've done nothing that hasnt needed doing - cooking dinner and washing up, babys bottles but we were out all day and the kids at a friends till 6:30pm. Mostly everything else is once a week, dusting, cleaning bathroom, hoovering, mopping, washing bedding etc. I have never washed curtains and I imagine if I did they would come out all creased. The nets could do with a wash I suppose, think I've done them once and the cooker could do with a clean - I got round to buying the oven pride but cant seem to motivate myself to actually use it, everytime I open the oven I'm reminded but forget the rest of the time. I liked it when dd was at school and ds at preschool and I had half a day to get everything sorted - sorting clean washing and ironing alone can take ages. I figure it can all wait till Bobs at preschool too.
