How many significant relationships did you have before you married your spouse? Not just the odd date here or there, ONS etc...but serious relationships before you realised that you had found someone you couldn't live without?

It would be helpful to say whether you are male or female, and your age range...

    One serious relationship then met My DH by working together ... just knew :)

    Female age 35 met him aged 26 married 8 years :)

    I'm female. Met my husband at 23 & married at 25.
    We,ve been together almost 20 yrs now.

    First bf at 15 - had 2 bf who I 'dated' before meeting first hubby at 16, married him at 20, imploded spectactulalry 3 years later. Rebounded into ds's dad - fell pg after 6 weeks but lasted another 5 years til met now hubby - been together nearly 9 years, married 3.

    I'm female, late 30's, hubby is 3 years younger and had had 3 girlfriends before me but noone for 2 years when I met him

    We have been married 19 years & have a 17 year old son.
    No other relationships.

    None... KH was the first... more fool me! 20 years, 15 married...

    OH had 1 gf before me.. with about a 3 month relationship... he took on a lot when he took me on.. :D But at least neither of us would cheat on the other having had it done to us... well, I wouldn't anyway....

    3 previous relationships, lasted between 2-2 1/2 years each. (1 x teenage infatuation, 2 x in my 20's).
    Met DH at 32 (he was 33) & we were engaged 5 months later. Now happily (& smugly!) married for 3 months. Definately knew it was different from the other relationships from day one.

    we met when I was 16 and he was 17. I was his first relationship, I had one previous boyfriend for 18 months when I was 15.
    we got married when we were 22 and 23
    been together 12years, married for 6 years and have a 4 year old and an 18month old. and a mortgage ha ha!

    Not quite married yet, will be in May so hope I can be included.

    Met my OH when I was 16 and he was 17. Longest relationship for me before him was 1 week. He had had an on off relationship with someone for 2 years.

    We are now 24 and 25.
