Is it crashing only when you are connected to the internet?
If so, are you using a plug-in wireless network card (USB or PC Card slot)?
If so, check you have the latest drivers for the card or that the card hasn't become damaged (the ones that plug into the PC Card slot can become 'bendy' after a while - this happened to my Netgear WG511T after about 18 months and I got exactly the same crashes you are getting. Cured it by getting a new card).
